This might surprise you, but lightmare isn’t actually that unbalanced. The sections that aren’t wave are generally orb-based (that means the best alignment is assumed from previous clicks) or ship-based (same alignment issue). The starting UFO is actually considered one of the hardest parts for the orb reason

A bit of background for some of these levels

Vehemence: This level was showcased way back in 2023, then wPopoff got the verification and superbuffed it to be unfathomably difficult, but he barely even played the level so he was removed and replaced by 4 players, 3 of which were removed/dropped the verification. The sole remaining verifier was A6, which buffed the level to be even harder than wPopoff’s version, and got it in 2 runs, but the creator recently decided to make it an open verification because he took a break from the level and nerfed the level heavily.

Diabolic Clubstep: Not top 1, was a level that would’ve been top 1 5 years ago if rated.

Heliopolis: Meant to be the hardest timing level. Originally was much easier (around top 5 difficulty by today standards). The first three verifier all played on this easier version before dropping it. The next verifier was Thnnder who superbuffed it to near Aeternus difficulty before dropping it due to a hand injury. Thnnder’s version was scrapped but the original version was significantly buffed to be way more difficult and given to Abdeildevil and Garbag. After a year, Mindcap made it an open verification with a $10700 bounty and would buff the level to make it harder than any top 1 that was verified. Recently, the level was buffed again, to ensure it was harder than Society. The best progress on it is 66% by Zoink, 35% by Trick, and 6-47% by Bradenbowl. Should be noted that this level is absurdly first half carried, the first half is supposedly a super top 1 and the second half is like top 10 difficulty.

Artemis 13: Already verified by Zoink. This was originally top 1-3 (definitely top 1) but was nerfed after the original host was exposed as a scammer and the ownership was transferred. Because it’s Zoink, the global list still believes that it’s top 1, although Zoink has said it’s top 3-5.

Lightmare: Believed to be the human limit
