This album still sounds like a million dollars, holds up so good

One of the most perfectly produced albums of all time

"how's he make the guitar say 'waaooohhh'"

You may wanna sit down for this. It's literally called a wah pedal 😂

It did not deserve the hate it got by some fans of the band from the 80s. This is like top 20 biggest selling album of all time, sold like 36 million copies and it was for a reason. Litteraly everyone who heard it, who never got into the band before, fell in love with it and it was the perfect gateway to their older thrash staff. Has a lot of great songs and is really an amazing album in my opinion. Thunderous guitars and drums, masterpiece truly dont care what anybody says. Banger after banger songs. Even the older fans realized how great this album was afterwards and now everybody loves it, at least majority i think.

I can only speak for myself, but for me, watching you and others like you reacting for the first time, its like reliving something that I love over again for the first time vicariously through you from a perspective that I dont have. Its like hearing it again for the first time.

personally this is my favorite album it just has something of everything and it’s all so good

the intro is so real, unforgiven is such an awesome song

I must be old lol (50) and listening to this again sounds better (musically) than before Album 35 years old

In my opinion one of the greatest gateway albums into metal for non metal fans. It's heavy enough to be a good representation but also not too heavy or thrashy to scare away non metal heads.

Blessings from Finland !  I saw Metallica 1988 in Helsinki !!!

Metallica is the best it's cool seeing someone experience them for the first time. I listen to them everyday I have to listen to them

I LOVE THIS, such good music and a cool guy listeing to it. Much respect!

This is one of the albums that changed my life forever.
It was way back in 1992, and a friend let me borrow it. I took it home, and brought it back the next day as not to be rude. "No way you listened to it. Take it home for the weekend"
And so I did. I skipped around until that riff for "Of Wolf & Man" hit. And that was it. I probably listened to the whole album twice over the weekend.

Fun facts:
The voice of the little boy you hear in "Enter Sandman" is the son of Bob Rock (Producer of this album)
My Friend of Misery was brought to the band by bassist, Jason Newsted. It was his hope that it would be an instrumental, as they had done on other albums.
As of mid-2025, the album has spent over 750 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. It also achieved 20x platinum certification by the RIAA. It continues to sell around 500,000 albums annually.

LOVE watchg ur Metallica journey ♥️🇺🇸🤘🏼

I think the coolest part of this video is your dog coming to check on you when you got emotional. Smart dog.

There's two more Unforgiven tracks on later albums a trilogy that does tell a personal story....

It’s Awsome seeing a young man as humble as you these days…Stay like that my friend and you will go far!! And I gotta say…I WAS actually tearing up during that….guess I really am in my feels….loved every minute of this brother thanks you…
Actually made my day

Probably the best heavy metal album of all time.
Respect ❤

I get it. We re-experience our lives, or, are introduced to new things. But mainly we like to see people cry :)
