Blackened from Seattle 89 was such a great performance

The light at the end of that tunnel... Was just a freight train coming your way

Jason added an extra 5000hp shot of adrenaline to the band!

I still have a mint VHS box set that I keep on display. Favourite concert of all time.

Jason kicks so much ass.

I still remember my very first listen and introduction to Metallica. 13 years old, my mate gives me and justice for all to listen to. Blackened starts and I am instantly mesmerised and hooked. It literally changed my life and took me on a massive musical journey. Discovering Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, Kill em All.... I still get emotional seeing live performances from that era now. Absolute legends of music.

"Fucking Jason!!!" This was something I repeated soooo much! He had that "it" factor that just... was perfect imo

Their personal struggles added to their creative genius. I love the rawness and intensity of this.

First time I ever heard Metallica was hearing Enter Sandman when I was 9 coming out of a Pizza Hut jukebox in '92 while I was playing pinball. Completely forgot about the game to run and try and see what was playing, i'll never forget it...changed my life

4:30 me too man, goosebumps and instant tears fuled by emotion because there are no words. Any Metallica fan understands and gets this moment.

Here I am at 51, and that intro still rocks my core.

I saw this tour as a high school kid in Buffalo, NY. No one came close to what these guys were doing back then. I'm 54 now, and I've been to a lot of amazing shows since then, but holy shit, this never fails to make me emotional.

Saw them live in New Orleans with The Sword and Down (a couple of the members are family friends) in 2008. Easily one of the best concerts I've been to. Was also my first mosh pit. I was 14. Loved it!

It's fun to watch how passionate you are about this.

i was 13 when Puppets came out, an older friend played it for me and i was never the same again ~

I was there, September 23, 1989 Irvine Meadows Amphitheater. The final US date of the Damaged Justice Tour. To this day, one of the best shows I’ve ever experienced.

Got to see them in Chicago in ‘86 with Cliff a couple months before the accident 😢

I can remmeber my first metallica song was seek and destroy, around 9 years old, fun times

The number of times I watched the Binge & Purge tapes is ridiculous. So good. Will always be a die hard.

I'm 50 years old. Been listening to Metallica since One debuted on Headbanger's Ball.
I have never seen them live. However, I've seen the other bands on MY Mount Rushmore live.
Just today I purchased tickets to see Metallica next June in Salt Lake City.
I mean, I'm almost holding back tears thinking about it. I feel like this is very special, even though it's late career for them.

Regarding the Seattle concert. I'm with you. It's one of the greatest pieces of media ever created. At this point I can't think of anything better.

By the way you mentioned Queen at live aid. That is absolutely phenomenal also in a different way.

Another one that I think is extraordinarily special is Guns n' Roses Live at the Ritz.

Cool video bro!!!!
By the way, my license plate is Damage Incorporated
DMG INC

Just thought I'd mention that for fun.

Peace.

I was 16 in 1991, saw them live in Québec City November 19th!!
