The computer and the hero's reaction to it is actually a very good depiction of modern AI

Highwayman, Max Headroom, Road Warrior 2, Knight Rider, etc...

Ok finally I took the time to watch this movie - first time watching but brings out memories, I miss these 80's futuristic distopian stories

I never noticed the license plate of the Mercedes: PK Dick, Philip K. Dick.

just FYI but has probably been mentioned in the comments already: Theres a French Version of the movie that is 30minutes longer, with alternate takes on almost every scene as they filmed everything twice. once for the english version spoken in english and once for the French/Europan Version where every actor spoke in their native language.

Gorgeous designs by comic book legend Enki Bilal.

I found it at last! I have watched this in the early 1990s and still remembered the speaking truck.

Best decade ever wish I could’ve been old enough to enjoy the 80s

Watch this movie with the mindset that you are watching an anime, or reading a comic book or graphic novel. The first few minutes of it didn’t really translate to me. And then I read in the comments that it’s like a cool anime. Cool to see Karen Allen from Indiana Jones, and Jürgen Prochnow a.k.a. Duke Lido Atreides.

Weird, but yet fun to watch. Thank you for the movie. It was definitely interesting.😊👌

When they get to the actual city part, it kind of feels like seeing another part of Blade Runner; like the same universe.... but then it gets... creepier.

I've never seen this movie, this is great, I like this post-apocalyptic vibe like in "Blood of Heroes" or "Salute of the Jugger"

It's obvious there are cuts. Why the loss of over 15 minutes? Great movie and would have liked to have seen all of it.

The over engineered lift and entrance, into the bunker in the castle, at the start. Must’ve cost millions to build, all so a car can drive about 20 metres in underground. 😂 And the talking moving lips of monster, instead of just a speaker. Some things are so bad they’re funny.
