Tip 6: educate the locals to keep their place clean if they still want to have turism.
I've been travelling SE Asia many times and beside turists from certain nationalities (we all know which those are) it blew my mind how careless the locals are with their environment. I've seen even guides throwing plastic, like from cigarrete packs, into the water. So let's call it as it is.

Nice video, thanks a lot. There's so much more that we can do, like longterm investment in the communities to help the biodiversity. There are also government projects supporting and protecting the biodiversity and it's worth highlighting that as well.

Hello. You are giving very good advice on how good a diver must be to avoid damaging things underwater. How many dives did you have at the time of this trips? Or how many dives would you say gets someone to a good level? ( I know it depends. But just to get an idea) Thanks

From what I learned when I was looking into Raja Ampat a couple of months ago, the Dampier Strait and particularly the area around Kri was most affected by the recent global bleaching event. If I'm not mistaken you guys have been diving exclusively in that area on this trip, is that right? If not, how did areas away from the Dampier Strait look?
