Hey! We support girlies here, so this is commentary aimed at the horrid material they were given. Hopefully it gets better and they really get to showcase their talent next time! Meanwhile, come hang out! We do this on stream and so much more Come: https://www.twitch.tv/katriinka

If a group can't harmonize within a performance...then it doesn't matter the individual vocal ranges...it's all ends up a terrible idea...

Poor sakura 😭 they really threw her to the wolves

I feel like the worst part of the performance was the mics. They’re so close to their mouth/loud that you can hear every breath the girls take.

'Turn it up' is the most annoying part of the whole performance, especially because it's 'turn 🌬️ it up'.

"I wanna beat like this beat like this"
GURL THERE WAS ALMOST NO BEAT-
Edit:MOMMM IM FAMOUS

P💨t th💨t r💨ve on. Reve💨ution fl💨ck that fli💨ck that

As someone with ears, I couldn't agree more.

turn it awf, turn it awf, turn it awf

bro i thought the jing jing a ling was only at the beginning. Now i can't stop unhearing it throughout the whole song

Someone please cancel the party

"We Ride", which featured the other girl that didn't make the group, Ayana, was much better. She can actually sing well, and this girl, Sakura, really only talks. She's also only 16, and they put her in a group with 3 20+ year olds. It makes no sense.

"i want a beat like this" well i DONT

Not a  single person is going to convince me that Sakura was chosen for her talent and being a better fit for the group. Because everybody with eyes and ears can tell that there is no way. Sending a 16 yo girl with no training, no experience and a minimal skills into this industry full of criticism and haters is a no brainer. They just wanted attention. Doestn't matter if its fans or haters it's still an attention for the group and that was the whole point. If they let her train at least a year or a couple of months it would show so much and look and sound so much better than this. And I'm not hating on Sakura I pray for her that everything good happens in her life and that she will get over this hate and attention with no big issues.

7:25 thank you for pointing out the fact that they have a minor yet have suggestive lyrics like "shake that". if they wanted mature themes on the group, they shouldn't have picked a minor to enter the group. yet again, K-pop loves debuting minors when they shouldn't be missing out on important milestones such as graduating high school

They be turning my pinky down

I refuse to believe a big company like hybe would do basic mistakes like this. The mic placement, the soundtrack being softer than the voice. This is all planned. Like this is a kpop company!

That’s exactly my reaction at jinggalingling 😂 it’s remind me of the of the Chinese part in “we gotta celebrate of our differences “

My main issues with this whole thing are just the fact that HxG decide to debut a girl born 2010 with three girls born 2004-2006. They're in completely different stages of their lives and because Sakura isn't fluent in English, communication is going to be harder. They're a group based in LA where Sakura would be very isolated socially. She also lacks proper training which makes her lack of skill very clear in a group with girls who have had years of training. I feel bad for Sakura because she's thrown into the entertainment industry for profit and publicity without being ready for it. I can't speak for how the other girls are feeling, but I can imagine they will feel a sense of responsibility over having someone so young with them and we don't know how the language barriers will affect their dynamic.

I don't know what should be done from now on because there's not a world where HxG would go back on their words and debut Ayana (from the We Ride performance) or just put Sakura on a hiatus. I think Sakura has a lot of intense training in front of her but even with improvement, this first impression is going to last

I didn't notice the jing-jingaling until you pointed it out and now I can't unhear it 😂😭
