Dude, this has to be one of the best love-letters to Uncharted 4 I've ever seen. The editing, the writing, the teaser trailer music playing at the end? I nearly teared up man! You really managed to capture why I (and I'm sure all of us) revisit this game every year without fail.

It’s actually insane that on Uncharted 4’s literal 10 year anniversary, the game still looks and feels more polished than most single-player games releasing today. The graphics, animations, physics, facial detail, cinematics, all of it still holds up better than 99% of the industry.

Look at 007 First Light. It’s clearly going for that Uncharted/Hitman vibe, but it still doesn’t come close to Uncharted 4 visually or technically, and that game was running on a PS4 in 2016.

Really shows how far ahead Naughty Dog was back then, because most studios still haven’t caught up, even with hardware that’s massively stronger now.

wish I could erase my memory and play this game all over again from the start.

Uncharted 4 wasn’t just a game. It was an experience, a masterpiece that arrived at the perfect time.

When I first played The Last of Us, I rushed through it. I was 13 and treated it like every other game. Before Uncharted 4 released, I went back and replayed TLOU slowly, paying attention to every conversation, every environment, every detail. That’s when I realized games could be more than entertainment.

So when Uncharted 4 came out, I made a promise to myself: I wasn’t going to rush it. While most people finished it in days, it took me nearly two months. I found every treasure, listened to every dialogue, explored every corner, admired every view, and let every moment sink in.

Uncharted 4 didn’t just make me love gaming. It made me love adventure. To this day, I find myself exploring abandoned places, forgotten roads, remote locations and hidden corners of the world, chasing the same feeling of discovery Nathan Drake gave me.

Thank you for this video. It took me back to 2016-2017, when games felt like events. Back when developers took years to craft a story and we had years to live with it. We talked about those games, replayed them, discovered new details, and truly fell in love with them before the next sequel arrived.

Today, it feels different. Franchises like Assassin’s Creed, Call of Duty and many others release so frequently that we barely have time to process one game before another is announced. The industry feels obsessed with engagement, trends and yearly releases. Too many games are built to sell quickly rather than stay with you for years.

That’s why games like Uncharted 4 still stand tall. Not because of nostalgia, but because they were made with passion, patience and attention to detail. Nearly a decade later, I still remember the story, the characters, the music and the feeling it gave me.
Very few modern games leave that kind of mark.

Uncharted 4 truly changed my life. It’s the reason I became a “hardcore” gamer and one of the reasons I decided to study software engineering to then become a game developer. Happy 10th year anniversary Uncharted 4 ❤

One of my fondest memories was getting two weeks mandatory sick leave at my job due to a covid case at our office and getting Uncharted 4 to prep for the time off.

It’s like the world paused for me to experience this game.

Perfect 10/10 🙌🏻

Uncharted 4 has one of the best HDR implementations in any game ive seen.

This video was a real labour of love! Hope y'all enjoy...

The final shot of this game always gets me. It was such a beautiful way to end this amazing franchise 🥺

And now, we have news about a new Uncharted 5 in development.

It's so impressive to me how well this game holds up. It could've been released today and it would've still been amazing. Great video buddy!!

My favorite game of all time. UC4 was just perfection, man!

That chase sequence was so good PlayStation themselves couldn’t help but show the entire thing on YouTube before the game released 😂

Uncharted 4 is my game. I don't think I'll ever play a game like this EVER again.

I started this series playing Uncharted 3 because a friend sat me down and made me play. Before that I was all COD and GTA. I sat down to play it and my life was forever changed. I LOVED IT then went back to play the first two. So by the time 4 was revealed I was pretty excited. I remember the trailers (still watch them) and being so damn ready to play. I remember where I was and what I felt that day to this day. It is the greatest gaming experience I've ever had. I have never felt so satisfied and empty after playing a game like I did when I finished this one. TRULY spectacular!

Great video.

I think I've replayed this game more than any other.

Naughty Dog does not play around . This game was a masterpiece. 10 years after nothing was released with the same level of care , detail , mechanics and storyline

the first game i ever played on my ps4 and it changed me for life... i've replayed it like over 20 times in the past 10 years it really is my favorite game ever

Ok I'm gonna have to re-play Uncharted 4 now. This game was like a religious experience for me and only a handful of games have done that for me personally.

video genuinely brought me to tears. Gave me a perspective on UC4 I hadn’t seen. thank you for making this. Also just finished replaying 4 and its wild to think this love story is told perfectly underneath what’s probably the greatest action adventure game of all time.

One of if not the most fulfilling ending ever in a videogame. Incredible. Thanks for the video.
