🐟 If you could only choose ONE Greek seafood dish to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Mine might be the grilled squid... but those marinated sardines completely surprised me. 🤯

the "problem" with the greek food is  that no matter how much you eat at lunch, in the evening you want to eat again,  because  all the dishes are so light and fresh. Seafood , fish and salads are like eating fruits .

I don't know how much greek you can understand, but the first song was like "I told you once and twice and three and seven and eight and ten times, if you deny me, I don't want to see a woman ever again" and the second "Don't believe the crying eyes, it's dangerous to love them, they'll fool you if you adore them, they'll hurt you and you'll be in pain". Have a good time guys!

Great to see you back in Grece :-)  The freshness of the food there is wonderful to behold.  I'd love to ge my hands on Tsipouro in the UK 🙂

I had no idea ginger was used in Greek cuisine. It's not difficult to grow and Greece has the perfect climate to grow ginger. Greek cuisine in Greece looks so much healthier and flavourful than that in North America. I don't go out for Greek food often in Canada, but the cuisine in Greece with all the seafood, greens, and freshness is my kind of food.

Another amazing video in Greece.   The " Spanish tongue roll " was wonderful early on when pronouncing Greek ambiance.   I adore when people keep a bit of family heritage when having an enjoyable time.     I am from a mixed world and my Mom, Aunts, and Grandmother all spoke Portuguese fluently when Grandfather was not present.   I still pick up certain words and  concepts when I listen to that language.    The food and video coverage is awestriking on your channel and your insights are amazing.   Thank you.

We do have good seafood in this part of Piraeus and thank you for noticed it. Do you know that on your way to the café you walked over the Long Walls? The big stones you might have noticed on your right, below the sidewalk railings towards the sea, are the ancient walls that used to protect Piraeus and Athens from would-be enemies in ancient times and are there for almost 3.000 years.

Good to see you having a good time. Stay here forever. I moved here from the US last year and I'm the happiest I've ever been and the freest I've ever been as well.

Greetings from Montréal Quebec Canada 🇨🇦 first time started watching channel was when you went to my birthplace Chania Crete it is awesome how you describe the taste the aroma of whatever you’re eating all over the world only someone that that’s been in the cooking school should know the language of food, especially when you come to Greece you pronounce the words in Greek better than I. I was born in Crete, but I was here in Canada from the age of 9 1/2 now no, I made a five-year plan to return forever back in my village Agii Apostoli in 2031-32  Can I recommend a restaurant called “Three Brothers” in Chora Sfakion Chania Crete And if you do go there, tell them I sent you, George from Canada that I visit mostly every year, you asked for John. I go there for a week when I visit Crete and the people there are amazing and most of the village is mostly cousins and second cousins. It’s just a port and a small village up on the mountains. It’s on the other side of Crete southside Libya. It’s a long journey from downtown Over the white mountains I’m sure you’re familiar with Crete after you visited so many times you must know it but you will never able to forget the journey and he will also. While you’re there take the boat Stavros taxi Tell him George from Canada sent you your cousins there and you have to try their Sfakianopita with cheese inside he’s a friend and go to Louro. It’s another area that the water looks like mirror. I’m sure you’re familiar with that too so all you need maybe three days, but Loutro is wonderful resort thank you for your videos. I watched them, but I don’t comment every every one of them but when you’re in Crete, I like to see a few things. Thank you again. Enjoy your visit in Athens.

FYI Tsipouro or Raki is not a liquer, it does not have sugar or flavourings added, it's a spirit. Ginger does not have a season, its only around as its become trendy. Its imported from Asian countries.
