Archaeologists dedicate their energy to trying to understand the lives of people from the past. These films offer us the opportunity to share their discoveries, some of which are among the most extraordinary of recent years. Their work allows us to unravel part of the mystery surrounding these ancient cities and monuments, and gives us clues to understanding the peoples who built them.
