I’m in my 70’s and am amazed at prices today. A working class couple would have a hard time paying that much for a small home. Getting a first home was never easy, but now it’s almost impossible. 😢

Love seeing you made someone’s custom plan come to life!  I love that it has an entry and porch on both ends, as most of the plans like this don’t.   Very nice. Well done!

Very, very nice Home thank you for sharing. I’m 73 years old and in a retirement mobile home park it’s OK but I look at these homes and I dream even at 72 years old you can have dreams.

You had me at sewing room with its own bathroom! Wish y'all were in Central Texas.

It was nice to see a custom plan, that started on a napkin. :)

I love affordable housing starting in mid 200K … I’ll call in another 30 years

Always do wood shelving in a pantry. Stuff falls through the wire shelves.

That three sided walk in pantry is one of the best I have seen yet! I bet the home owners are going to love that! And they have so many great kitchen cabinets as well. ❤

But . . . that long hallway is all wasted space.  When I built my house it only has an 8' hall and part of that has a large 5' wide built-in floor to ceiling linen cabinet. All three bedrooms and the bathroom have access in that hallway.  When my uncle built a house for us it has a 26' long hall . . . that's a lot of wasted space.

I would loved to have seen the attic area.  Partially due to the storage for indoor and outdoor decorations for various holidays.  😊

Good home and layout. I'd have to have a tub though. Very nice build with what seems like reasonable pricing and a good contractor. Thanks for the tour, wishing you much success ! ✌️

Beautiful home! Glad to hear that wood shelves are an option in the pantry, I would do wood, myself.

You sound motivated and honest. Nice video.

Love it! Great location and convenient layout.

Nice!! Im in Wilmington!!
I wish I could do one of these!!

A couple things I would change.... The cabinets in kitchen should go all the way to the ceiling since it's a smaller kitchen. No coat closet, use that little space to make the laundry room bigger. Can always put a place to hang coats, etc  in the laundry room

I personally love this home 🏡. Perfect for me. Especially with a garage. I'm getting up there, so would like a seat in the shower. Best one I've seen in a while...

Hey thanks … enjoyed the walk thru
You only build in the Carolina’s ?
Thx much !! A lovely job !!!!

seeing the water sides around the house I'd put it on steel stilts with protection around them also I'd have the basement too raised about 7ft., the cabinets are gorgeous I'd paint the bottoms white and the tops have them a forest  or darker green or Vice versa, Still like it though. Also I'm thinking the stairs I'd build ramps instead. wood shelving would look nice in the pantry, The master Room with bathroom was really nice! :)

I want the wood shelving.  I would bring the kitchen cabinets to the ceiling and wrap them around the blank wall by that glass door.  I would make the kitchen cabinet with pull out drawers into a movable island.
