Does everyone remember when books had little cards tucked in the back of the book and the  librarian stamped it with the date and wrote your name on it and the return by date??
Those where such good memories.
Also I remember when it was my turn to be the "librarian" for my class at our Primary school library. We all got so excited taking turns doing that! I must admit I love the sound of a crinkly book jacket and the sound of flicking through the dry paper pages. And I cant forget the smell of a new book! Priceless.
I was very much a book nerd growing up. My parents took me to the library every Saturday after sports and I would lug my giant pile of books to the car. We grew up without a TV so books were super important. Well actually we had a TV but very very rarely watched it.

I remember working as a page in my local library nearly 65 years ago.   Every sound that you create takes me back to those happy and tingly days.

The first time I sort of discovered ASMR was when I was just watching the librarian stamp and check out my books and got a tingly feeling in my head. I thought I was just a bit overtired...until it happened again, and I wasn't tired at all!

Library triggers are EVERYTHING. Hands down the most tingly ASMR for me.

Who's the Greatest book dust jacket crinkler in the world..? By far it's Mary!!!!!!..

Dust jacket crinkling and telling us about the book would be amazing. Perfect combo of triggers.

I love the smell of old books with the yellow pages . I read a copy of The Outsiders from the local library and I could not stop smelling it

I just love your library videos. One of my favorites is the only where you are organizing the books on the shelf. Thank you for a new one.

I’ve literally been listening to your library playlist every day for like a week and a half and then you post this . So excited . I used to work in a library and I loved the sounds at work . Used to do the stamps super slow so I could hear the sounds .

Oh my, I'm going to sleep wonderfully tonight. This is my all time favorite trigger. Oh the tingles.

I love having the library videos! I put them on while I’m working just to relax lol we all have work stress❤️

Near the end we get the mournful sound of the Lonesome Train.

I love occasional whispers! It makes it feel more natural and real-life like 😴

Thank you, thank you another library asmr, my favorite asmr to watch, been watching you since 2018, and my first video I ever watched asmr was you doing a library, you have helped my anxiety so much over the years, thank you, keep the library videos coming! You are the best.

I’d love to see more grumpy librarian role plays. Those are just too good!

Yes! My favorite is a trip to the library with Mary!!

Oh my goodness I don't know how I didn't see this till now I absolutely love your library role plays !! I rewatch your old ones daily !!!! Thank you for making a new one 🥰

This was EXCELLENT!! Gonna be one of my favorite go toos. I love the sounds of the crisp paper.
Also it was just whispers and looking through books..no stopping.
Thank you for making this!! ❤️🌷

Just listened to this twice while studying. Now, I shall sleep to it. Thank you, Mary!! Love library triggers

I needed this tonight. Super sick with 4 young kids and I totally needed this wind down. Thank you❤️
