We are playing Admiral Horthy in Hearts of Iron 4 to see if he can actually run a functional navy.
Today we are testing out a specific HOI4 scenario where Admiral Horthy takes the helm. We are going to see if the Pirates Turn to Our Side event chain actually provides a viable path for expansion or if it is just another way to sink the fleet before we even leave the harbor. It is a look at the unique naval construction options available, specifically focusing on how to utilize The Grand Armada to build up regional power.
We also examine the Deliberate Sabotage mechanic to see if we can disrupt our neighbors without causing the entire campaign to collapse. This playthrough breaks down how to manage these specific mechanics while trying to maintain control over our limited resources. If you enjoy strategy games, this session shows exactly what happens when you try to force a naval focus on a nation that probably should have stayed on land.
