Much more than a dunker, and his motor was unmatched! I’m glad I got to see Russ play for so many years! Love him or hate him, this dude was special! 🫡🥇🏆💯

That energy and atheticism is unmatchable. Thanks to the gods of basketball for keeping this man healthy for so many years to play

I haven’t watched the video yet, but this player is my age, he’s a point of reference: he’s going to be missed in the league no matter what people think. It’s not that I’m an absolute fan of his game or anything. But when I saw him play, you could tell this was his life, he looked so happy and all that. This generation is honestly very endearing. Even Harden, he’s not my favorite player, but just seeing him around is a kind of reference point, and Westbrook, I’m really attached to him, and honestly I felt it was going to happen, but to my great surprise: I’m sad, it pains me. I like LeBron, I don’t want him to retire, but if he had announced it, I think it would have bothered me less than this. I like Wembanyama and all that, no problem, he’s the future: I like his off-court personality obviously, but I’m sorry, it’s not the same attachment as with Westbrook (at least for now). His farewell video was very beautiful: safe travels, artist. See you soon in museums or elsewhere. 💚🏀🙏

God damn. He is my favorite player. So highly underrated or not rated as high as he should be. He as the best point guard in nba history. He doesn’t get respected and celebrated as he should be by the fans. I could watch this highlight everyday. Sickest highlight real in all of sports. By any athlete. Hands down. Nobody dominated like Westbrook!! God damn! Highlight reel is sick asf!!!
