Hey YouTube, it's been a while 👋

That trail is NO JOKE. Hiked a friend out with a busted collar bone and blown acl. Suuuucked. Had to stash his bike, walk him out to the road. Go get his bike and limp down the road to the other road where my truck was. All in all what should have been an hr and half ride turned into almost 6. Good times.

Me while watching: laughs nervously
Dave while biking: laughs whimsically

I was not expecting a revisit to such an iconic video to pop up in my feed

Man, your laughter is infectious, it is wonderful seeing you still enjoying biking like this

I literally started mountain biking because of that video. Nice to see you back, Dave.

There’s a small group of guys who live in the area and try to keep the trails clear, they’re the ones who built the cabin. Me and my friends from the North Shore go up every year May Long and do the initial clean up as well with our chainsaws.

Iron Mtn is the best. It’s a bit of a bummer to see the state that the woodwork is in. I would love to show it some love just need to find the time

4:45 what's truly impressive to me (a very novice mountain biker) is that despite the insanely rough terrain and what appears to be break-neck speed, you are still very much in control.

Thanks for not running over the little Garter Snake. 🙏

I too saw your original video 5 years ago and was following your channel for quite a while after. YT eventually stopped recommending me the videos, but I'm glad it did this one.
Amazing trail. Hopefully the bits of it that haven't aged so well can be restored to better condition, and the obstructions be cleared.
I could never do mountain biking like this myself, but it's great to watch others do it.

I love how this guy just laughed about every little problem or mistake and try’s it again, amazing person I hope this goes viral just so you can get support

Man what the heck it’s already been 5 years since that vid. Crazy.

What the heck, I was watching your older videos then this got dropped at the same time? Thanks Dave!

4:45 Talk about a spike trap! Good thing your brakes worked.

Cute little garter snake to start your ride!

I get the impression that bringing an e-bike to that trail was a very brave move

We have all missed you.

MOM!!!!!! DAVE POSTED A VIDEO!!!!! WAKE UP!!!!

Great to see you back dude! Missed your panic laughs haha.

Thank you for respecting the animals and not just running the snake over ❤ I think I need to watch more of your videos now! I should have waited before commenting, because clearing the path as well? Amazing work!

That old video is one that I have gone back to multiple times over the years, I was excited to see this pop up in my recommendations

nice to see ya back! sorry to hear that you've struggled to find time and motivation, but hopefully you can keep on enjoying riding, however often you do it, whether you record it or not
