You smashing the L10 against the lift door 10 minutes after getting it lives in my head rent free 😂

THANK YOU for actually posting and showing night shots, everyone on release showed day content and no night shots

Great detailed video! I'm thinking of switching from the Sony A7C to the L10 to save weight on my travel videos and this was really helpful.

Awesome video. It’s getting me excited for the S9II whenever that gets announced!

Great insightful review mate and those images are stunning.

I wish Panasonic could improve the flip screen design, it is the same chunky one from S9 and S5II. They should've make it slimmer or make it a flip up screen. Because the camera body is actually not that thick.

Amazing review, got me hyped about the L10!😂

Gorgeous camera!

Everybody's different, but my general leaning is that if I have an optical viewfinder, I want a shutter speed dial. If I have an electronic viewfinder or no viewfinder, I want to control shutter speed with a command dial.

Testing video in South FL I was only able to get continuous 25 minutes of video in open gate before it overheated. In 1080 I was only able to go 45 minutes. This was tested on a tripod and cam in shade ambient temperature 90 degrees. Humidity about 60%.

Funny how many reviews put the S9 as better - with an "except" and the "except" didn't matter. Lumix nailed all the important stuff with the S9 for the price point, you want everything, it delivered the most important. The L10 is a better single platform travel camera though, just not as good as the S9 for a video workhorse that it also kind of a travel camera if someone could make smaller L mount lenses.

I am still very happy with my Panasonic GX9 and my S9, I am a bit concerned about the new S9 firmware bricking the camera, luckily I haven’t updated.

Enjoyed the video. I had pre-ordered the L10. However, I changed my mind and canceled…I really enjoyed the older LX100 II, but like most others, I wanted some upgrades. I decided to purchase a used GX9, in excellent condition, along with a Panasonic Leica, 15mm f1.7 lens, and a Panasonic 12-32 lens. It gives me a tilt LCD, and the 15mm stays on the camera 90 % of the time and easily matches or exceeds the low light capability of my old LX100 II. The 12-32 is so small, I can keep it in my pocket for whenever I want zoom capability. With the aperture ring on the 15, and the command dials on the GX9, I now have the tactile controls I had on my LX. this may not be the solution for everyone, but I’m guessing there is little loss in image quality versus the L10, and it’s a lot less expensive.

they need to fix that exposure jump..

@kurtdoerfel7620 3 months ago

would rather wait for the next gx85

I still would prefer a shutter dial. Nothing like being able to pick your camera & take a photo without looking through the viewfinder or screen. Having a Leica-ish style camera in the range makes sense, a more photo-centric stylish Lumix...

I don't know if this holds true for the L10, but with my Leica D-Lux 8, the camera actually has a maximum shutter speed of 1/4000 of a second. It's not on the shutter dial, but it shows up on your screen if you're shooting in bright enough light.
