I did this literally 20 minutes ago and this is 100% correct way to remove the ENTIRE bumper. unclip the electricals, take out the two Torx 50 bolts and it slides right off.

that may be your view that's every BMW Z3 in the world has rotten seals. I have five of them and they are not rotten and two of them I've had from brand new. It's down to how you maintain and look after your car

Wow, I'm used to everything being a battle on a BMW, but this looks really straightforward and logical.  My wife's 2001 Z3 needs a replacement or repair... the previous "repair" done was terrible and is peeling.  It will be much easier with it off the car, or I may just source a replacement... thanks!
