Brits in Benidorm protesting against inmigration in England has been one of the highlights of my week, hands down

I'm going to be honest, if I'd emigrated to Spain 20 years ago and I still couldn't speak Spanish, I'd be embarrassed.

As a Brit that travels a lot, there is nothing more insulting to my own culture, country and frankly my identity,  than the behaviour and attitudes of my OWN kind abroad.

Imagine being in someone else's country calling their police "foreign police". The level of entitlement is off the charts.

That girl called a Spanish police in Spain foreign.

Calling someone foreign when you're in their country is crazy work 😭

English residents of Benidorm who can’t speak Spanish and eat English food were protesting about immigration the other day lol

Imagine going to someone else’s country and calling them “foreign” lol

Ahhh as Spanish lady I enjoy so much reading these comments! Thank you guys for being aware. I was born in Córdoba but rise in south Tenerife, my parents had always worked in hotels and dealt with the turist. They had always said the Brits tourist are the worst of all of them.
Thank you Jimmy for this video, I really appreciate it.

The fear in my body when i notice a 'red lion' bar abroad.

There is a saying in Spain: "The summer starts when the first drunk brit misses the pool"
There is a web with the statistics in tourist  idiotic deaths and accidents in Spain.
"balconing" has it's own league. Guess who are leading by far?

In Prague I was ominously warned by the guy working at our hostel that at night "they will come." My friend and I were terrified, assuming he meant something criminal. Turned out he was just warning us about the rowdy British stag parties 💀

Nowadays there are spots in Spain, like Benidorm or Magaluf, where no Spaniard would ever think of visiting because they are just theme parks for drunk Brits. It is disgusting

Knew a guy at work who went to Spain every year, the same resort, and never left the resort. Everything he ate was their version of British food. He would take photo's of the meals and proudly show them off like they were photo's of a stunning landscape somewhere.

Why are Brits who emigrate "Ex Pats" but people who come here "immigrants"?

41:55 "There's too many foreigners in the UK " said by a British woman who want to live in Spain 😂

I often meet drunk Brits in pubs and restaurants in Poznań, Poland. Every time they're absolutely shitfaced and behaving without the slightest respect. I get that they're partying and all, but come on—do better.

Born and raised in the South of Tenerife (Canary Islands). In my town we were always Canarian and peninsular, but it is very close to tourist areas. English people came to my parents' store, some of them had a house in the next town for 20 years, but they didn't even know how to say Hello in Spanish. All their neighbors were English, in the supermarket they had to speak English to them because they were "tourists", they hung out in their pubs, and they did not consider it necessary to learn Spanish. Nowadays things have changed but not that much either. Two or three years ago, an English bar in Gran Canaria was fined because none of its waiters were able to serve a customer if it was not in English, and they were told that being Spain, they had to have a basic level of customer service in Spanish.

positive anecdote from Germany: yesterday at the footies a British couple were standing next to me in the stands, invited by some others. Very pleasant people, they joined our chants and songs.
