Dragon Age: Origins was my very first Western RPG—and in 2025, I finally returned to it to grab the platinum and all other 77 trophies.
In this full breakdown of the Dragon Age: Origins platinum, I:
Build the prettiest Warden in Ferelden
Singlehandedly solve every race’s problems
Wrestle with BioWare’s jankiest systems and most fragile trophies
4 romances, 4 endings, and 6 origins
Navigate bugs, backtracking, and… a surprise baby?
This is Platinum #50, and it’s one I’ll never forget—packed with old-school RPG charm, bleak decisions, and some serious trophy pain.
So grab your Mabari and enjoy the full journey through one of BioWare’s most iconic games.

I played this games years ago and loved its story but just at the time couldn’t deal with the combat system at the time…. Would love a remaster one day!
Keep up the great work and looking forward to what ever you have planned next!
- The hardest achievement though, in my opinion, was the one where you had to make it through the entire game without the main character falling in battle once, a couple times I had to split second reload before my character was registered as "dead".
- Getting all these achievements without the stat glitch, oh boy, that was an adventure, especially The Grim Reaper, which I had to resort to the most overpowered Awakening ability: Accuracy and my buffed up Champion/Templar/Spirit Warrior tank with over 700 health to face tank The Harvester who died at the same time as The Harvester's second phase.
(Un)Ironically, Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect 1 and Knights of the Old Republic were the three games that made me fall in love with the RPG genre, I loved games like FF6 for the SNES, but the three aforementioned games that truly made me love the genre.
