Look, as long as Toku as a whole is a thing, there is hope.

Prime video might be the only GOOD option left. They did make 2 mature kamen rider series so they're definitely not afraid of the aesthetic.

either an original story
Are just use all the stories from the comics

Wait, isn't Nickelodeon is under Paramount? They technically did it too then! LOL what do we even have left? Prime? HBO? Honestly, I have SLIGHT hope either Netflix or Disney+ reconsiders.

The worst part of it for me is not that Power Rangers ended, it’s because Power Rangers ended without representing homeschoolers and wanted to see the show represent homeschoolers, oh sure, I got one character coded to be that, but then they had the actor’s scheduling conflict resulting in that character being turned evil and then made that season be the final season before a reboot we are still waiting on, and before you judge me, you need to understand that Power Rangers is not diverse like it’s supposed to be, yes, do look at who they cast as Power Rangers, but also look at who is and isn’t getting represented.

They should just make a power rangers animated series

honestly, let’s make an animated series of power rangers, they can do so much more cosmic and explosive action with crazy looking monsters.

To be honest, before they do anything new with Power Rangers, I want them to figure out what’s going on with the distribution of both PR and Sentai. Because its very up in the air now, and while both shows are over, there’s still 30 years of the former and 50 years of the latter worth of material that can be distributed and shown to new audiences before they do anything new. They can’t 100% separate PR as a brand from Sentai because if they did, the main run of PR might not be able to be able to be distributed anymore since it uses a lot of designs and footage from Toei, and a lot of people forget that Toei was involved with making PR with Saban/Disney/Hasbro (they are literally credited in every season). Plus, Sentai has used the PR name for some regions like South Korea. It seems like to Toei, PR and Sentai are two different shows of the same franchise, which is likely why Sentai’s global distribution is tied to Power Rangers. Sure, a company could make an original PR project with no Sentai ties if they want, but if they wanna promote or rerelease any of the older seasons or use the older designs, they can’t fully ditch Toei. So I hope that with this down time with no new releases, I hope they can sort out the distribution rights. In an ideal world, both shows would be distributed alongside each other while one or the other does new separate projects.
10:30 Wait really? That’s a shame since I haven’t had that experience with Ultraman fans yet personally, though I don’t use TikTok
28:02 Honestly all the stuff that was happening with PR a few years back and learning more about Sentai is what led me down the path of watching other toku like Godzilla, and through Godzilla I got into Ultraman and the Ultra series filled that void. And I feel like by watching even other toku and learning about the history of it, I feel a greater appreciation for the art form than I did when I just watched PR and Sentai.

18:31 I think that what they should do is make Power Rangers an animated series

Appreciate the megagargomon shirt there

While the version in the show is new for the show , john has always set his own version of the green lantern oath up until the war of light started in two thousand seven , with the foundation of the other Corps (im notva huge comic netd EXCEPT for thos one spesific thing)

Nice reaction video. I won’t lie that the current situation is favorable because it certainly isn’t but I will stick with the franchise. I can be patient about the situation but these are dark times for the fanbase. However it’s good to be open minded about new possibilities. I don’t blame you for getting upset about it though because it’s a very tricky situation. I do hope a comeback is in the works though even if it takes a few years. I’m still a Power Rangers fan at heart!

Money. Money. Money.

At this moment with this constant cancellations of the Power Rangers reboot and the endless uncertainty, I have pretty much retired from being a Power Rangers fan

The Disney+ reboot not going forward was the final straw for me

And I don’t blame Andre for being tired

But I’m still a Tokusatsu fan on the Kamen Rider, Project R.E.D., Super Sentai, etc. side of things

They have another show similar coming out

Lanterns is bad John said the same thing as all the others maybe in new badly written stuff he has a new one. I’ve seen only one person change there oath out of all the colors. he was some criminal that got a green ring thing was every lantern sent to this zone got kill the ring pick someone with a strong willpower just didn’t check to see if it was a good willpower. So he’s the only person that works there and he can’t work anywhere else because he’s allowed to kill but he gets check by others like ones a year to make sure he’s not turned into a crime lord

I want to be honest, I haven't watched lanterns.

Hey hawkilles I got a question. if toei somehow acquired Power Rangers would that mean super sentai could maybe come back?

I sound like a broken record at this point, but even when moving past Power Rangers and watched a few Sentai Seasons that were adapted to PR I was excited to see more only for all of it to be taken down from Tubi due to the license ended with Shout Factory.
I still love Power Rangers and still want to watch more Sentai seasons but like everyone else I just feel burnt out, especially burnt out from Hasbro fumbling the bag on how it's treating PR.
Tokusatsu running strong with project red, kamen rider, ultraman etc.,  it gives me more variety to explore other shows to watch and enjoy while both Power Rangers and Super Sentai are on hiatus.

Will they both come back? Yes and it will take time.
At the end of the day it's about the commitment, budget and push for creative ideas to help PR in the future along with fans making content.

Honestly does Power Rangers even work in today’s Era? Sentai Ended, Hasbro doesn’t treat the franchise with respect and outside of the community, no one is really interested in them.
