My 2 week follow up post operation is tomorrow. I pray its healing okay...... I'm sorry you had to have more than one surgery

I'm having bunion surgery on my right foot. Had the left done 1994. Off my feet for 8 wks! This surgeon reassures me of better procedures and a more rapid healing time for my right foot. Thank Goodness. I'll let you know how it goes. Mare-Mac, SW FLORIDA

I started having redness in my face and chest the day after surgery…they think it was from the anesthesia or the Percocet.  I took my Tylenol 3 and it helped but made my skin itch bad.  So long story short I will just do the regular Tylenol and ibuprofen from here on.  Hopefully I’ll be able to walk in the next day or so in this boot. So far weight bearing hurts too much as I accidentally did and no more.  Doctor follow up visit is Friday so I’ll see how healing looks so far and what all he has to say.  Thanks for sharing your story on here.  Oh and the anesthesia tube thing I had a bad taste in my mouth up until noon today my mouth was so dry so I now know what you went through.  Getting right foot done in November so praying that this will heal quickly.

I'm having surgery at 2pm and have been told to eat a light breakfast before 7am 😱😱😱😱 hope that's ok !

would recommend for anyone with a bunion to get lapiplasty bunion surgery. I recently just got it and am making update videos for anyone interested

I've had 5 operations on my feet. I never had any trouble. This experience sounds terrible. You just have  to follow pre-operative instructions each and every time.

I’m having surgery feb4 2022 and I’m so afraid of the pain I am currently on nor I for back pain and I don’t no how the pain is going to be when I have the bunion and4hammer toes done I’m just really afraid

I don't know why they push a lot of pills down your throat in the US. The only thing  they've  prescribed me here was codine tablets (co-codamol) they also gave me a boot and crutches. I had the big toe and the two next toes done, hardly any pain.🇬🇧

that sand paper rash is in the to of my foot that got worked on....
i believe is normal because ive heard so many people that described the rash.

I had the same situation as you I’ll be having my surgery on August 14 th is it any different then the first one? My doctor told me it would be much harder and much longer please let me know how it was

thanks for the videos. I just had bunion surgery 2 and half weeks ago and it has been comforting to watch your journey, though sorry you had to go through it twice but the results look really good. I wanted to comment on the rash.  I was only given the cod#3 with IBRU or Loratab for pain meds and had the same experience of really bad pain after the nerve block wore off but the Loratab did make it more bearable.  I also got a rash 2nd week of being on the Loratab, mine too felt like sandpaper on my chin and around my mouth.  I switch to IBU because the Loratab was causing a rumbling stomache and the now the rash is going away. I am 5 days post surgery for a bunion and metatarsal plate.  How are you doing??  It sounds like you had a rough time!  I hope things are much better for you now!

Sorry to hear about your experience. I’m in day two. Most of what you say applies .Horrific pain and codeine makes me feel sick and it itches under my dressing.it is Sundaybhere so cannot von call my doctor to ask how to stop the itching and nausea and huge pain. Just like you describe and the painkillers hardly touch t . Glad I saw your video as it helped to know I’m not alone in feeling like this. Not rushing into another one of these ops again .x
