Funny how the first and last BDO worlds were won by a Welshman taking out 50 to win by going 10 and D20 after having a dart at the bull bounce out for the title.

Small mistake at 89: It was Wilson's 2nd title

Great video, brings back great memories of when the Lakeside really was were darts was at.

Met Martin Adams in redruth during an exhibition, took the time out to pose for a picture and asked about my family, chatted for about 10 minutes, really nice bloke!

Great reaction from Taylor against Gregory. In hitting the winning double he looked absolutely gutted for Mike. 😢

Some great memories. Shame that Gregory missed all those match darts. And O Shea really deserved at least one world title.

I think there's no finish more famous than Deller's 138. It's etched in darts history.

You forget how many finals John Lowe was involved in.

I felt that winning Lakeside had a real prestige from 1977-2006

"One Phil Taylor, there's only one Phil Taylor" simply the best, his record will never be beaten, or equalled

If only Gregory could hit his doubles, the future of darts could of taken a completely different route.

Beautiful rip Eric Bristow 5 times world champion BDO ok. 🏆

I'm not a huge darts expert but I still remember Ted Hankey's 170 to win the title and we always loved this event in our house.

Deller what a finish.

I like Steve Beaton and I hope we can see him after his last season 2024 once again in the Ally Pally at the PDC World Darts Championships.

As a youngster I found Bristow to be quite arrogant on the dart board but I guess he earned the right.
Awesome dart player and probably the best that ever did it!
