That’s not soul food! That’s Caribbean food. African and Caribbean cuisine. Soul food is Foundational Black Americans.

Ok, now I've got to go get Caribbean food! It's been so long! I'm leaving now!😂

Alex Caribbean Rice is always on point. 👍🏿
It’s the beans, Coconut and Pineapple that sets it off.
You could also put some Jerk Chicken Sausage in it and be in food heaven.

Alex - oh my God this is good. Manny - stop you don't eat corn bread with a spoon. Most Soul Foods bring it. Had a feeling you were going to like. Like Manny said we got that Soul! Peace!

alex soul food is also from the south and it slaves during slavery made it for their families and it's called soul food because it helped pick up slaves souls and got them through slavery and the reason why white people never real had it was because house slaves who cooked the food for the slave owners and their families never cooked soul food they just cooked the food the slave owners and their families like which wasn't spicey at all

WTF...Most of the soul food recipes that you see today were created by slaves. The slave owners threw the scraps and everything they thought was impossible to eat off of the animals and they turned them into meals. That are seasoned so well it gets to your soul. However this is Jamaican food Caribbean food it's not black American soul food
