Love how you did the sleeves. I’m 69 and have been crocheting for years, mostly Amigurumi, beanies, plushies. I have always wanted to make a wearable but wasn’t confident to try, but after following you for a few years and watching your journey into wearables it encouraged me to give it a go. Finished my first cardigan and I love it, thank you Rachel without watching your videos I would never of tried. Happy crocheting from Australia🇦🇺

For the ribbing, I go up half to one full size hook and work in the back loop only which makes it a stretchy edging. Also, you can make the edging around the neck and front panels only, then, work a separate ribbing along the bottom and attach the ribbing together at the end.

So cute! I’d 100% wear that year round!

The cardigan is awesome and Blossom is getting so big. What a beautiful little girl.

I would try to return/sell the two unopened packs of buttons, then use the ones left over for a few smaller Halloween (orange and black) themed cardigans for your amigurumi/skeleton sitting outside. Could also double for eyes with new ghost stuffies if you wanted.

We (us old folks) usually just slipped stitched our projects together. I have a baby afghan that has gone through my kids and their kids, and a couple of big afghans just continuing with the crochet hook. A lot less weaving in ends too! Oh, the big afghans would be between 35-40 years ago and get washed often.

OMG. That is so cute. Great job. I want one now. I am working on a cardigan with a mosaic yoke. I have a never ending list of projects I want to make and not enough time.

i just made a matching top and skirt set with this yarn and i can confirm it is ELITE cotton. michael’s sells three-packs that are often on sale so if you’re looking for an amount to make a larger project i recommend looking there’

Happy belated birthday!! 🥳 I hope you had a blessed one 🤗 That cardigan turned out so stinking cute, I love it! 😍 The perfect vibe for a cutesy Halloween. I was working on my own fall project, the Fall Into Place mosaic throw by HanJan Crochet. It's so fun!

I love it! So cute and the sleeves are perfect! Totally agree with the 24/7 DK. Great cotton for wearables.

I can sympathize with your temps. I’m in Dallas, and we finally got below the 90’s for our highs. We have also had some much needed rain. Today is for watching football and working on a baby blanket for a friend’s granddaughter due later this month.

This cardigan is so cute! Love it! To answer your question- I am a whip stitch girl!

This looks so great!! Well done 👻🤍

ooh nice cardigan! the button eyes are such a good idea!
I'm currently using an old 2nd hand purchased cotton cake that has a black grey orange gradient, and knitting it into a bat wing shawl! It's the free Autumn in Vincennes pattern on Ravelry, and it's working up quite easy for me, so I can use it as a mindless knit up when I'm not doing the charted parts.

The cardigan turned out super cute. You did such a good job designing it. It's my favorite item of clothing that you have made so far. Happy Birthday!

Ahhh I LOVE Lion Brand 24/7 cotton DK yarn!! I used it to make a big round blanket for myself, and it turned out so so nice. It's my go-to. I'm currently working on a C2C blanket for my mom using Caron Blossom Cake yarn 😊
