No one using FM is one of it’s best features! When traveling with another car (both suitably equipped) FM CB is great. Fairly clear, less crowded (CB can be quite busy around here), with a pretty range FM is the way to go if one is traveling in a group.
I think that setting the SWR is the most complicated aspect of installing a CB antenna. President has a model that claims it is pre-tuned and needs no adjustment. Does that really work? If so that would make mobile CBing a lot easier.
CB 19 is almost always busy here in Central PA. Plenty of truckers still use it.

Good video! I recently set a friend of mine up with a Cobra 25 WX LTD, I got for $10 at the Cincinnati Hamfest. It didn’t have the mic, mounting bracket or power cable. I had all that on hand. It looks and works great!

I just watched my first video of yours which was from apparently a few years ago. I first got into radio back probably 1994. I'm getting ready to watch a newer video of yours with enthusiasm. I say that because hell you've been putting videos out. They're for more than 5 or 6 years. You have an enthusiasm also. We found your channel years ago when we were looking for ideas in mounting a 102" whip antenna. The rear mount on your Toyota truck video was most helpful. I live in Washington and I have been able to reach a few people by calling out. It's such a cool feeling when you finally get someone! I got Retivis MB3 and a Firestick 2 mounted on the driver side bed of my truck right behimd the cab. I should've went with a Firestick 3 or 4 but it does pretty good.

My whole household uses FM cb. The president line up with FM and 25 watts and we can talk about 18 miles in all directions.

Looks like a Uniden 520. They were IMHO, the BEST micro radio made. The 520 had the 1 and only improvement that the 510 needed and the was an RF Gain control. I drove a truck for 20 years and to me if it didn't have an RF gain control it was useless 90 percent of the time.

Wow i talk on FM all the time. Also FM has been out for many years. 26.805 always busy lots of skip there for FM.

That looks like a nice basic radio. Have a little Cobra 19 for the Jeep so if it gets ripped off I wouldn't be too upset. Bought a President Ronald for the 4Runner it does work better. It is 50 watts and technically a Ham. Easily modded to run on CB. Works well enough without running a box. Did add a D104 mic. No sideband or other stuff, but good radio. I agree, not to many people use CB any more. Most of my buddies and I use GMRS now. Still only talking to each other. Very few people are just wanting to chat.
