The LEGO Designers of most of the Classic Castle sets were Daniel Krentz and Niels Milan Pedersen. Sadly Daniel passed away, but tomorrow I will show this video to Niels - who hand drew most of the old LEGO Castle heraldry and is still a LEGO Designer. Thanks for keeping the alive the love for the old factions. (And as a Designer of LEGO Agents - hell yes please, go for it! I guess I should put my LEGO Agents Space Marine biker online too.)

I remember, that when first wave of Votann came out, someone made whole reference sheet how to paint them in various LEGO theme colors ranging from Space, Blacktron, Rock Raiders, Power Miners and much more.

These may possibly be the greatest liveries ever brought into the wargaming fold. Genius!

Took me back to a time, when LEGO had ideas, good pieces, good quality and you could buy it even if you weren't just a fanboy. Loved it!!!

Pure nostalgia. I loved this. You really captured their essence with your fantastic painting.

Those colors and models would be perfect for Black Iron Sigil!

I also had Lego Castles in the same era, and still have all the ones I had! Now I just need an excuse to get some figures I can paint up....
Thanks for another great video

Absolutely love the wolf pack lads

The Lego Pirates would be awesome to see done in miniature form - especially if you did a take on the classic pirate ship as well!

I love Lego Minifigures and fantasy in general.

That's so cool! I want to see you do the Fright Knights!

As someone who was absolutely enthralled with Lego castle but was too poor to own much, this is hitting special for me. This is what it's all about. I remember I got gifted a miniature for Christmas (not from a game, not even sure what company made it) of this skeleton in heavy armor with a sword through his "guts" and holding an axe and I'd even use him in my Lego world 😅 when I was finally able to afford getting into miniatures war gaming I was so stoked, and these two things will always always be linked for me

How have I never considered my old LEGO figures as inspiration!? Great video!

never expected you to ever talk about lego castle, love it

This was a brilliant idea! Super fun way to bring some nostalgia to the tabletop. The lion knights and black falcons are iconic.

Thank you Master Peach for reminding me Im not old, Im just a legacy Lego faction XD As someone turning 41 late this year I have boxes of these sets in my parents attic. In fact the Forest Men and Wolf Pack sets you showed off are sets I have built and played with! Love this idea.

Now I just have to remember its not age thats got me, its a bit of jam that makes the joints stick, its love and play that has scuffed the painted hairline back, and the sun faded heraldry hasn't gone completely...its just seasoned now.

Peachy - your ability to simplify and explain how to paint never ceases to amaze me. You're able to make the hobby much more accessible to new hobbyists, which to me, is the core of my love for the hobby - bring new folks in! Thank you!!

❤Love how meticulous you are painting the fine details, and making it look easy with a larger brush. Looks like a great figure for a henchman or sergeant/captain.
