My vote is for donating it to a museum, either local to the family who made it or to a quilting museum.  I know some of the fabrics are shattered but a lot aren't, and the stitches are still beautiful.  Even in this condition, it is still worth adding to the crazy quilting historical story for people to see and study.

The crazy quilt should be in a museum. Such a shame to cut it up.

I live in a small town with an historical museum and we would love to have crazy quilts made by a local person!  Before you do something with that quilt you might check out the area.  Textiles from the past are so rare and precious!

So many many beautiful pieces wow

What a fabulous haul so lucky to

Really love your haul!

❤👍😊

Wow it’s beautiful ! You were really lucky to havé round all that. 😊

What beautiful stuff. One day I'm going to make a crazy quilt.

Wow!  You hit the jackpot.  Looking forward to seeing what you decide to sell.  Definitely interested in an antique slow stitch kit with a piece of that FABULOUS crazy quilt.  Would also love a piece of that hand woven fabric and some of the doilies.  Love red so the doilies/napkins  with the red flowers are perfect for me.  Also want some  Battenberg lace and buttons.

I love all of it. I thought the last item that you showed would really work good on slow stitched pieces.

Please do not cut up that beautiful, crazy quilt.  Donate it to someone who would cherish it as is.
