Sherwood Dungeon is an old browser based MMORPG that I stumbled across when I was just 12 years old. Surprisingly, it's still active and running. Let's see what this game looks like in 2024

Saying that Sherwood Dungeon is worst MMO ever made is a crime... Think about your behavior.

saying this is the worst is blasphemy

Maybe today this game is not a big deal, but about 15 years ago it was: the servers were full, there were plenty of people to socialize with, there were many clans, clan wars, you could have your own base, pets, etc. The truth is that it was a good game for a child in 2008 who didn't have a great PC.

Sherwood was like "We have World Of Warcraft at home" 😂

i remember this one. Back in the day it was mainly a dungeon crawler, going deeper and deeper into a big underground place.

It was an actual 3D game in your browser, which felt like the most insane thing back then. The devs also had some other equally janky albeit charming browser games. I remember one with tanks, picking a team color and shooting on players with a different color.

As a brazilian kid in the 2000's this game was incredibly good, mostly because of it's accessibility. It ran on any pc, with any terrible internet, and it was incredibly simple and easy to play. Things like runescape were simply too hard to play because we didn't know english at the time.

"This is the worst MMO I've ever played." "I had a lot of fun" - yeah, that checks out!

Real ogs went from a good ol' dungeon crawl to jetpacking to the moon and watching people crash the rover

I like how the playable skeleton is wearing some white Air Forces.

The Sherwood I grew up with was waaaaay more outdated than the version in this video. The only activity I did at that time was to go to the coliseum and slay dragons lmao

They changed the weapon icons and the way the weapons look. All of the enchanted weapons used to look way more badass. The ice and fire swords were essentially like glowing crystal.

People in the games chat speaking Turkish and they say that they are only playing for chatting and nostaliga. Someone also complains about games player count and thinks the company needs to make more ads 😂 I also remember playing this game stepping into the dungeons were so scary for little me I need to take breaks to continiue playing 😂

I remember this game kinda, started out as a guy with sword, kill monsters get weapons and go through a portal for a dungeon. I never got far but I liked the beginning so much.
