The transparency is refreshing, this generation of British artists are pushing the envelope in ways that break categories, cliques and stereotypes.

It's not coincidence frank ocean looked up to him, he saw what fakemink really is, the general public don't get him yet.

such a fascinating conversation, this guy is so young yet so smart and so aware. reminded me a lot of a young tyler, the creator, smart and calculated and educated, yet so free spirited and bold. really waiting for this album

I think he's right about how music will change. Obviously can't judge the project til it's out, but even just in a pre/post-fakemink sense. In interviews when he talks about his music the full scale of what he's doing/trying to do doesn't really come across. But if you are truly tapped in you get in and it fundamentally changes how important what he's doing is. I don't think it's just him, he's just doing it in the underground rap space and into the mainstream. But what he's doing is the natural progression of music and the arts in general, and I think is going to be seen globally across genre and medium.
