Old school mechanic. Made the repair and never put his cig down.

Reminds me of some trick my grandpa would have thank you

Dude that is awesome!

good plan. i like it. maybe use glue so it doesnt move back..

Gain speed - loose torque ... increase amps and burn ur stuff

Nah, but if you really want to make it faster put one of those $4 APC props on.  Should increase your boat speed by 0.5-1 mph (depending on the motor, the boat, conditions etc.). Worked for me pushing a 14 ft tin boat with a 30 lb MK motor.  Quieter and faster than the OEM prop, but does not handle weeds as well.

Well, I tried to tune up my trolling motor yesterday. I made the mistake of taking out the bolts, (it was at that moment I knew I had F'd up) now I cant get it back together. lol It was an old beat up trolling motor anyway..

Is that tuning affect motor's life. Or any problem like heating up more ?

Thanks..watched another video doing same procedure…what if this does not really make a difference.Tried this and ended up at same position I marked it at.

Nah, this is BS, the bolts are tightened in a twisted position, if you are lucky they pull the whole thing back to the designed position, if not, the bearings are skewed, o-rings maybe out of alignment, no, no, nope. You should have measure RPM before and after the 'tuning'.

More prop speed. Boat speed faster ?

is it necessary while aghast, to keep
cigarette in one hand ?

doesn't this bring more wear faster?

If I do this it will not damage the seal?

You don’t do anything, you put in the same place 👎

Thats absolutely does nothing

Don't  Do This,You Will Screw Up Your Gear.
