Maybe that's where some of the Greek myths, like Zeus turning into a swan, come from.

@Mad_Rabbit69 1 year ago

Suddenly, all the stories about Zeus, turning into a bird to sleep with random mortals makes a lot more sense

I’m starting to realize Jurassic park could’ve gone in a very different direction

I had a friend that went to a zoo with some large flamingos. Well, there was a male that decided to try to preen her through a fence and got infatuated with her to the point that when she walked away he escaped multiple times in the same day trying to look for her. 😂😂😂

I love how it’s said that cats think we are bigger, dumber, more helpless versions of them so they will try to ‘help’. Meanwhile birds think we are bigger versions of them so they decide to smash.

Edit: This was meant as a joke not to actually inform people on animal behaviors.

That tiktok parrot girl makes me so mad. As a former avian vet in training and current zoologist, nothing upsets me more than bird owners knowingly and deliberately mistreating their birds. She knew exactly why she shouldn't do that, and did it anyway.

Once a bird starts to pluck itself due to stress, it is EXTREMELY difficult to get them to stop. Birds are highly intelligent, and become traumatized just like we do. They bond for life, so getting it to see you as its mate only to reject its advances is unbelievably cruel.

This reminds me of that one penguin who feel in love with a penguin anime girl cardboard cutout.

That Crowe fellow is a real one, making sure Walnut became a legend and not a statistic.

RIP: Walnut, you were an odd one but someone still loved you.

Aww i had no idea Walnut died last year! The fact Chris helped her have at least 8 babies is incredible dedication though thats so sweet.

being danced to by a male ostrich with a jealous female circling around him in the back was an experience of a lifetime for 15 year old me

9:50 And as somebody with pet chickens and roosters, can confirm that some of our roosters and one of our pigeons can, will, and has, tried mating with an inanimate object while also trying to mate us.

I mean I can understand why penguins think we're much more bigger and awkward Penguins because often when we are in their territory we wear clothes that look like them and our arms and our body looks similar to theirs
