Ik was op 28-07-2026 op Antalya airport om 3 uur in de nacht. Ons vliegtuig zo om 6 uur vertrekken dus 3 uur voor de vertrektijd op de luchthaven en verschillende controles gehad. Het vreemdste is wel dat je een instapkaart krijgt zonder een gate nummer. Die komt later op de vertrekborden te staan en dan kun je er heen lopen. Chaos kon ik niet zeggen. Misscchien ging alles op z'n Turks.

Very helpful video. How long do you reckon it took from stepping into the airport to actually getting on the plane? I'm going there in October and didn't have a clue about how chaotic the place is until I watched your video.

The New International wing is a complete mess, they still can't figure out how to organize. The airport already had issues and it just gotten worse. With so many issues from multi security which I wonder why they need this many unless its job security, then rude staff, and prices are ridiculous. 2026 around the corner this airport is more like the 90s airport. Poor Planning overall or someone just don't care. Thank You for sharing your experience. Just subed your channel.. Looking forward to more adventures and reviews.. Cheers Mate.

Flying back from Thailand in 2017, I was asked if I had any weapons, or anything on me that I shouldn’t have. I nodded and they took me to a private area to be searched. After 1 hour, they couldn’t find anything. Body scans, everything?!?!?

The police chief fellow started to get raging as I stood in silence, smiling.

I am 5’3””. A man of my height has no business having a 12 incher.

It was pure Chaos last night...Searched and scanned 5 times....unbelievable way to treat people especially if you come from UK. Never going back to Turkey.. Ever

Istanbul airport was also as chaotic and the exact same thing happened with check in, 2 desks that opened late. Then for some reason, a further bag check of every other passenger at the gate AS BOARDING HAD STARTED!!! And ahhhh yes, the completely meaningless priority tags 😂

Agreed. Hotel looked iffy and thanks for warning re. Airport. Rhodes and Egypyt airports were equally as bad! Not going back there either. So thats 3 on the bad list. BA staff amazing, agreed. Great video. Better luck with your next trip x😊

I used to travel to Moscow a lot in the 90's and it was the same there - you had to clear security to get into the main terminal at Sheremetyevo. BUT, there you had to unpack and empty EVERYTHING out onto an inspection table, and they fingered everything you had - opened everything, sniffed everything ( except your used nickers in most cases ), shook everything, and gave you the evil eye the whole time. When they had finished, they just waved you on and you were left to repack the whole lot.......................then you had to negotiate check-in. It was advised to allow up to 3 hours just to get to check-in once you were dropped off at the airport ( and much longer if you were planning on being strip-searched!! ). It was a real nightmare. Oh, the memories. And by the way, make sure you have a really good go at BA over the lounge BS, they may well bung you guys a stash of Avios as compensation ( you never know! ).
