XG stands for "Xtraordinary Genes" comprised of 7 members from Japan. They are exceptional rappers, singers, and dancers. They are considered "X-pop" since they dive into many different genres such as R&B, rap, pop, house, edm and all their titled tracks are in English. Yes XG is truly extraordinary🫶 they just came out with their performance video “NO GOOD” you can see them more individually.

You just stumbled into greatness. This group is considered ELITE they are beyond talented as rappers, vocalist and dancers. The entire group is Triligual (Japanse, Korean and English) but everyone in the group is Japanese.

Please with an open mind check out their entire discography. Its insane.

This is just the tip of the iceberg with XG. They get a lot of shout-outs from other artists and also have a lot of fans in the music industry. Names like JID, Method Man, FLO, Katseye, Kehlani, Ciara, PinkPantheress and LISA, just to name a few. They also birthed a whole new generation of boy and girl groups. Manifest is one of those groups btw and there's like a dozen more across Asia, Europe, the US and Latin America.

W to Ella for the recommended song ❤ Alphaz on deck!

If you want more strictly rap and/or rap heavy stuff from XG, check out Howling, Gala, Undefeated, Hesonoo/X Gene, and PS118 (Jurin Asaya). If you're cool with other genres, check out In The Rain (rnb), No Good (rnb), Left Right (rnb), Shooting Star (pop), Hypnotize (pop).

I really don't know how you judge a best song. This group will do every genre. Time to go down the rabbit hole and enjoy every second. Hesonoo is one of my fave performance videos.

Check out their song Howling. It's kinda Woke Up Part 2, but not really. You will understand when you hear the song and see the MV
