In this live therapy breakdown, we worked through deep calf tension while observing how the tissue responded during the session.

As I worked through the calf using palpation, Muscle Tension Tracing, and Hybrid Therapy techniques, the calf began to twitch while we addressed the restricted area. Instead of forcing pressure, I followed the tissue response and continued working through the tension pattern to help improve comfort and mobility through the lower leg.

I get a lot of muscle tension in my calves, and sometimes the cramps and twitches, often in the middle of the night. I’ve never seen those massage tools before, I’ll seek them out. I do use a massage gun often, especially with the fork attachment.

I’ve also had a lot of cupping. It always helps, along with deep tissue and stretching. Also, after I discovered I have Type 2 diabetes, and receiving treatment, I’ve found that the muscle tension is much less than it used to be.

So how does this help when playing sports? I am curious. I want to do something like this for my calf and a feet but I wouldn't it tighten right back up after playing?
