The Huskers had a kicker… Now Alvano‘s doing big things with the South Dakota State State Jackrabbits.

They should have run the 1st or 2nd play of the game again . Where the RB blocks as AC rolls out.... If a defender presses, pass or pitch it forward. If he sits back, AC tucks and runs. A great play with a run pass option

We look 100X's better this year, I. Proud that we didn't get blown out, we competed, the wind was horrible for both teams. I firmly believe will will win out the rest of the year.

The observations from this game is that they have  the capability  of putting together a quality level of football for about 53 minutes in a sixty minute football game but for whatever reason they have a couple of units that falls apart in the high leverage situations when the games are on the line against the elite teams like Indiana during this 32 game losing streak versus ranked opponents. The players and the coaching staff must get better at situational football in order to become revelant in the Big Ten and finishing games. The moral victory narratives from this point forward has to come to an end especially when the Indiana Hoosiers were vulnerable and the outcome of the game was virtually decided by five key plays that went against the Huskers.Like what some of the prognosticators said at some point Nebraska football  needs a signature moment  to show the fan base that they can get the program headed back in the right directions by actual wins not close calls.😂😂😂😂😂😢😢😢😢😢😮😮😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.

Thats onother aspect we need a winning field kicker. Like indiana

Coaches should always defer the ball when you win the coin toss and never ever waste your timeouts in second half! That's what I was upset about! Other than that I just wanted them to compete and not get blown out. 45 year husker fan here! ❤

yeah the wind gave nebraska a chance, took away the pass game, allowed the safeties to come down a crowd, couldnt ask for more perfect variables to fall into place because if that wind is not blowing IU passing game is off the chain

I'm curious what happened to our tight end in the second half?.... We got a little too predictable with him, through it once the same way we did in the first half and lost yards so we abandoned him..... What about dragging him across the field behind the d-line? You have to find a way to get guys open.

Anthony took too many low percentage high risk downfield shots. Sometimes a championship QB will take. What is there and let his receiver make a play

In every strength there is a weakness and in every weakness there is a strength. I love AC as a QB.... He is exactly who we needed.... He's a bit of a risk taker and a gunslinger... But that is part of the problem. I love how he rushes the ball... The key however.... He needs to focus on moving the chains not on scoring touchdowns.

That may sound ridiculous, but instead of tossing that ball looking for the big score several times in the Red zone..... If he would have taken the underneath route or the shorter Target who was open.... The drive would have kept going and our run game could have punched it in..... Or a play action pass.

Too many times he threw it deep into coverage or too late and it was picked or not caught.

Again, I love that AC is our guy and we will do well this year but sometimes less is more

man you could see rhule unravel in real time, like he seems happy that he didnt get blown out, he gets millions to feel good about not losing too badly? I mean maybe he should have kept it to himself that he saw the defense was lost on that blown coverage and didnt call timeout or i am calling bs.

The real truth is we are one dimensional in the 4th quarter we need to close out games with a powerful running game and we don't have it

Rhule made 2 bad timeouts calls, first Q JUST Because he didn’t like no targeting, and when
Indiana was going for 2…proving he still hasn’t learned any time management

Why are we blaming coaches if players don’t execute the plan?   The breakdown in the secondary isn’t coaching, everyone raves how good coach Williams is but the secondary failed

To negitive.  You guys need to lighten up

All they proved is they don’t know how to win. Players and coach’s .

Hoosiers diehard since 1987 (early 80s baby sports🥜and 3rd gen Indiana alum) and a couple of thoughts:

You guys dominated us the first 48mins and we finally dominated the final 12mins.

My prediction for the game was “IU win 24-17 if it’s super windy or 34-23 if it’s not as windy .” so I ended up being close, BUT I never thought we’d get statistically dominated the first 48 mins like that. Never thought our rush game especially would get handled so much.

I’m glad we won and showed the heart of a champion to win ugly, but also know we were out played the first 80% of the game.

You guys proved your very analytics good analytics were not just a result of the weakest P4 SOS (not your fault Michigan State and Maryland terrible) which is usually the case when you dominated bad teams, but you still gotta see it to be sure (just like people felt the same way with my 2024 Hoosiers starting 5-0).

I really hope we can meet up again in Indy for Big10 championship with my Hoosiers 12-0 and Nebraska 11-1, but both will have to play much better than that to beat OSU and end up in CFP period for that matter.

Have always respected TF out of Nebraska🏈 from a far as a blue blood with amazing fanfare! In the 1987-2001 (especially 94-97) you guys were on top of college football (along with FSU and Miami during that 87-01 era). My dream as IU🏈fan was to always find our legendary coach! We’ve all been living in a real life sports movie since Cig got here talking shit at Assembly Hall December 2023!

PS we actually trailed last in Big10 championship game so it’s been about 10 months not a year. We’ve trailed 5x now during the 22 game win streak (vs ODU 7-0, @Iowa by 3, @Penn State by 4, OSU by 7, and now @Nebraska by 11. So you guys have had us down more than anyone the last 22 months!

PSS “I think Ohio state is gonna throw up 50+ on Indiana. I think Smith will have at least 3 TDs. They’re gonna kill them.”🙄

OSU is -3.5 and the over/under team total is 49.5.

If Indiana plays like they did today they will lose, but my God that was overboard and delusional (while also taking away from Nebraska’s performance today). That same guy last time Indiana beat them 56-7 said “If IU can do that to us then OSU next week in Columbus will beat us by 60!” yet they lost only 21-17! It’s a week to week sport!

“Indiana is a good team, but OSU is class of Big 10 and maybe country along w/ Georgia, Bama, Miami, and Texas.” Those teams all have 2-4 losses (including 0-3 vs IU) since start of last year while IU has 0. Doesn’t mean you’re not potentially right, but the reality is we should be #1 until we lose this year (just like every other undefeated defending champ returning their coach in the history of 90yr AP poll has been nevermind one returning 12/22 starters plus a portal class with multiple NFL players) AND Nebraska/Northwestern should BOTH be ranked #15-18 and would be if SEC or IU helmet was OSU.

Blablabla coach you need a running game power football.  Thats why you lost

The first caller is stuoid

The players proved they can play with anyone. This is 100% on Rhule for blowing a 2 score lead. His conservative style when getting a lead is so bad for a team. That’s why they don’t know how to put their foot on the neck, their coach goes into a shell

Rhule will never win a ranked game
