She did this in 2010. That's amazing to me. I guess it shows why they hired her at such a young age to write songs.

Any age can reflate to this song. Because they’ve been there. ❤ I love her way of being herself and still writing music that is so connectable!

I knew Alana would cry because I cry every time. I started seeing her react on the line about Mom's getting older too. That part always gets me too, especially now as a mother to a teenager.

This song is actually her speaking to herself. She wrote it when she moved to New York .

I can hold it in the whole song until the third verse. Then I always lose it 😂

She did a never grow up mash up with the best day at the eras tour and the tears 😢😢😢😢

This song hit so different for me after I moved out and had a kid. I was preteen when it was released but it didn't strike a cord with me until I had a kid

Your reactions are always heart felt and honest. Your strongest attribute. We all feel these things when listening to Taylor's music, but few express it as well as you do. Thank you.

The backing male vocals are by Mike Meadows, he did guitar, keyboards, cello, harmonica, mandolin and male backing vocals on The Eras Tour and has been a part of her band since 2009. He also does ALL of the male backing vocals on this album except for:
- Enchanted and Timeless, which are Christopher Rowe
- When Emma Feels Love, which is both of them
- I Can See You, which is Jack Antonoff

Swifties really made the right person famous. Taylor deserves all of her accolades and respect. Such a beautiful woman inside and out. ❤

I think you would love "Robin" from the Anthology. As parents, you may appreciate the tenderness of this ode to childhood.

Your story about your boys on the beach reminds me of when I went out to Powell River to visit my family when my girls were young (Ontarian here)! My best memories of that entire trip out to Alberta/BC was getting up at 5 in the morning and going out to the beaches with my girls and just watching them run around on the beach collecting shells, checking out star fish and all the things you see along the beach. It’s one of my happiest moments in my life cause I felt like everything was perfect in those hours watching my girls! And this song exemplifies that feeling of never wanting them to grow up!❤
