When the 40k universe has something called a 'Bad zone', you just know it's going to be a shit hole.

When he said "agri-worlds" in the introduction section of the video, I heard "angry worlds" and for about 10 seconds I was thinking "...yeah, I guess that makes sense in 40k - planets that are just too angry to be of use. Everybody and every plant and animal and even the atmosphere must be angry and hostile. Maybe Angron is involved, maybe not..."

The Palanite Enforcers got their name after officials from the Administratum's Departmento Copyrighticus informed Lord Helmawr that he couldn't trademark "Palatine"

Somewhere, deep in the underhive, where none dare tread, there's an enforcer smashing a habblock door down with a breaching hammer and then going full-in with a shotgun, yelling:
"I AM THE LEX!"

Alright, who gave police mini dreadnoughts? Thanks for the video

Arbitor Ian finally gets to talk about Arbiters.

To be fair there are a lot of autocratic states in our reality whose police forces have no different mission than 40K Enfocers. Control and Obedience

@oweirdone1 1 year ago

1:10 I thought you said angry worls for a moment, which honestly would fit in 40k. "Yeah this planet hates it's population, which is frankly fair"

Just like back home. Eastern Europe is such a fun place, when compared to supposed over the top Warhammer 40000 lore.

"Justice is a mere fasade, their true objective is to neutralize any direct threat to the people in power" ah so they’re just like regular irl cops. That makes sense

Palanite of the Palatine. GW loves to name things clearly!

Oh so literally just cops. The satire writes itself 🤣

I want to play a Frostpunk 2 like 4x WH40k game, where you control either a world with an objecive of delivering tithes to the Imperium, or control multiple worlds, managing resource allocation and such. It would be a great game.

Part of it would be ensuring the peace, but it wouldn't be the main purpose of the game.
