A long time ago, I obtained my heavy vehicle license, but I’ve never actually done anything with it since. Every time I watch your videos, I still regret that. Despite all the ups and downs, you have the best job in the world; it looks like a paid vacation. And sure, you have to be able to handle loneliness, but that’s manageable for me. This was a real trip down memory lane! I'm originally from Alta, so it was so fun to see my hometown again. I live down south now, but I'm going up to visit Alta in November.
You went for a walk on Komsa. I've been there so many times playing cops and robbers with my friends (when I was young). Right where you were parked waiting to unload, in those apartments straight ahead with the orange balconies, I actually rented a place on the second floor for a few years.
To me, Alta is the best place in the world. Beautiful in the summer and beautiful in the winter. In my adult life, I also drove semi-trucks from Sandnes to Hammerfest many times.
