Units work like rock paper scissors. Spear beats horse. Horse beats Bow. Bow beats spear. While shield holds the line, and maces break it.
Be sneaky, attack from better angles.
A good leader watches all the battles, not just his own.
Don't let the enemy players stand on your flagpole without any teammate guarding it.
Some units aren't good for rushing, be more calm with your battles.
Spot the weaknesses on the enemy attacks and exploit them.
The (+) icons allow you to spawn your units but also spawn basic 1-2 star troops on their own. Don't let your enemy conquer them.
The whole objective is to capture/defend the flag. Nothing else matters.
Use rock, paper and scissors on your loadout to have the counter of your enemies.
Hold positions with spears to defend against Cavalry. For shield units to waste time and also kill the enemies if they're unprepared.
Put your units on the perfect spots. Bowmen high up, usually guarded. Spearmen and shield units blocking a path or guarding a spot. Cavalry on grounds that can be rushed to deal heavy damage, often on open places.
Don't rush into battle because you can, tactical retreats are necessary. Fight when you see a clear advantage.
You can support your units by staying allitle bit behind them to keep attacking while being safe.
Change your units based on location, enemy types and your goal.
Put your troops behind or infront of other troops based on the enemies and allies fighting.
