Being executed via an anti-aircraft gun may sound horrible, but in actuality I'd bet it was just instant and painless.. just a gruesome show for the people

I applaud your effort in trying to get the pronunciation of the names/words correct.  Most YouTubers can't be arsed to even try.

saying something was 'visible from space' is so much less impressive these days when the images are just as clear as theyd be from a low-flying aircraft. scary

15:57  It's funny that you say this and then go on to say four more names.  Thank you for the subtitles!  Not sure they all matched but much appreciated.

Love to se a blooper reel😅

A 1943 bridge carrying most of a country's trade, with its bombed twin ending mid-river as a tourist walkway right next to it — Dandong might be the most surreal border city on Earth. Also respect for using the careful famine estimates (~0.25–1.17M) instead of the 2–3 million figure that still gets repeated everywhere.

Shout out to Simons' tongue. It's getting a workout on this one..

The Port of Dandong!

Clicked without a second thought

Well done on the pronunciation - you can tell he put the work in.

"The port of Dangdong"

New shipping hub in Northeast Asia,

Port of Dandong!

how many channels do you run Simon ?!?

This is fun to see litterally the day before this video i was setting plans in motion to go to dandong

The editing is well made I enjoyed every second of it.

I went to Dandong just over a year ago and went out onto the bridge. The buildings you see on the Korean side and there is a strip of many  klm's are all empty with now glass in the windows. If you go up the river on a boat there are machine gun posts along it on the Korean side. You only see army personal and then very few on the other side. If you look closely there is an unused fair ground at the end of the old bridge.

fascinating. thx  D.A. NYC

I was there in June for 48 hours, super interesting place!

The Port of Dandong kicks ass dude
