I went with a new editing style in this video and put a lot of effort into trying new ideas. Glad people seem to be enjoying the new style!

I'm a Tekken player that has been dabbling in GB recently, and I have to say this guide helped me so much in regards to understanding how to open people up and how I myself can be opened up. I was struggling on offense due to fearing the tools of my opponents characters but this video popped up in my recommendations out of the blue and it has helped me immensely.

I really appreciate the hard work and time you have put into this guide, hats off to you sir, you earned my subscription!

I don't even play this game (I play Tekken only basically) but FG guides give me a warm feeling that I get anywhere else.

tysm for this! I was starting to kinda figure out what strike throw interactions are, but this just solidified and corrected what I thought! Been struggling to open up opponents who are comfortable defending, so this will help a bunch

I've been really struggling to crack open opponents at S5, they're often eternally downbacking or teching all my throws, and I'm able to tech quite a lot myself. It sounds like delaying my offense and shimmying more is gonna be the key to moving up, aside from just racking up playtime and MU exp.

Oh my god, I've been teching with attack and wondering why it didn't feel like it did much. Thank you so much SQ! Love the editing!

Thanks to this guide I have finally gotten to G rank. Thanks alot streamer.

Thanks for the guide SQ! I’ve been struggling a lot on offense in S5 and this guide has given me quite a few things to practice and work on! Love your content!

thank you for saving my family from the fire and getting us a new place to live with this new video

Even though it's already a topic I'm familiar with, the way you packaged it was a great refresh. Love the editing for this one 💃

Thank you, very cool! This is just the kind of basic strategy I am looking to absorb as a beginner.

Section on strategy is mad helpful in figuring out how to rep throw in this game with the single button tech system

So i played the first gbvs but never took the time to learn cuz it was just me and a few buddies on the game the servers were completely empty. This one has a huge amount of people most of which being S rank or higher, i have about 55 hours on it with about 260 matches and 213 wins. I gave up trying to play against people my level (B3) because its not much of a match anymore so i started fighting against S rank and up. much faster, less laggy and more fun, videos like this are very helpful for me considering this is the level of skill seen in S+ or higher. If anyone wants to throw down and have some matches look for ZUSHIKA in NA lobbys, im on pretty much daily

This was an excellent overall introduction to these concepts for beginners of fighting games overall, and offered really good GBVS specific information as well! Thanks so much for making it. The only thing I would add for the sake of beginners would be a very brief (two or three sentences) explanation of what a frame trap is. While the full concept is more advanced, I feel like people very new to fighting games could get lost because you reference them several times, and remembering when I was a beginner, that term always just confused me when I heard it in explanation or commentary because I had no point of reference for what it was, and because unlike terms like shimmy, it's hard to just watch the game and infer what it means. Still, this video overall was superbly done. Fantastic job, and looking forward to more of your content! 👍

I need to understand how to stagger better and I can climb S++ thank you for the amazing video

This is one of the most helpful videos I’ve seen. Subscribed and thank you!

I feel like the key thing I'm not implementing in my offense is delaying my buttons more. I def need to work on this, thank you for making this video!

I usually get throwed a lot and don't really know how to open people up if they're pretty good on the defense. Thanks for this content, really useful.

I ate my food while watching this thanks

Great info! I don't play fighting games but Rising looked super fun and I'm loving it. I'm playing catch up with all these terms and strats. Thanks for keeping it simple.
