Reminds me of when I live there in Cavety in the late 60s I used to swim in my backyard during the rainy season. You only have two seasons, wet and dry both of them hot so the rain was refreshing.

I just got back from Manila. The beautiful River in the city is totally polluted and brown. All the little waterways are polluted. I asked don't the children ever play in the water and they said of course not it's polluted. If you get rained on you have to take a shower because that's not just rain, it's poison pollution. You can get sick.
