In Episode 11, I tested one of my most reliable Moka Pot techniques with the Bialetti Venus 4 Cup.
This is the same technique I previously used successfully with the Bialetti Express 3 Cup, including for drinks like Americano Soda and Freddo. But when I transferred the method to the Venus 4 Cup, the result wasn't what I expected.
So I ended that episode with a question: what happens if I use exactly the same approach with different sizes of the Bialetti Express?
Time to find out.
For Episode 12, I'm starting with the Bialetti Express 6 Cup, trying to achieve the same goal: a thick, intense coffee while maintaining a good, balanced extraction.
Can the technique that worked so well with the 3 Cup scale up to a much bigger Moka Pot?
And after this, there's still one more test to do: the Bialetti Express 2 Cup.
β IN THIS EPISODE
Testing the technique with the Bialetti Express 6 Cup
Scaling up from the Express 3 Cup
Looking at flow and extraction
Trying to achieve a thick, intense and well-extracted coffee
Understanding how Moka Pot size affects the same brewing approach
π¬ Do you think the same Moka Pot technique should work across different sizes? And what do you expect will happen with the 2 Cup?
Let me know in the comments.
