Lightyears from Earth, Giant mechanical power harvesting stations orbit foreign stars to fuel humanities power needs. The isolation, however, is not an easy battle to fight. Especially when a certain crew member begins to exhibit emotions beyond that that they should.
Production Info: This film was created entirely using a single green screen, Blender, DaVinci Resolve and sheer f****** will. Made by only the two of us (+ the help of some talented CG Trader Artist's models) over the course of 10 months crafting each frame by hand. We used absolutely ZERO generative ai for any of the imagery, sound or music heard in this film. This is a love letter to all our favourite Sci-Fi films such as Interstellar, Alien, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Sunshine etc. etc. We hoped to capture some of their magic when making this. We actually finished production in early 2026 before the release of Project Hail Mary but since watching it we can say this is the exact type of emotion and imagery we wanted to try and match! Having spent so long creating this Film we are so excited to finally show it off and are so grateful to anyone who takes the time to watch it. We make movies because we love movies and for no other reason. The driving force behind every decision we made was to attempt to take the viewer out of reality even for a moment and invite them to embrace a story and world beyond their own! We hope you enjoy!
