WHY?

1,425,779 views

Salt Bae's empire just seems to be going lower and lower recently.

$108,000 for a single dinner, while employees freeze in an unheated kitchen serving $700 steaks. Salt Bae's golden empire is crumbling faster than the gold leaf on his overpriced tomahawks, with three New York restaurants shuttered in the past year alone and profits plummeting by 48% in London. As days pass, Salt Bae is getting worse.

Salt Bae's empire seems to just keep falling, is this finally the beginning of the end for Salt Bae? Let me know your thoughts 😎

The fact that this guy built a career on spilling salt over his elbow, shows how stupid people are.

I still can’t believe this guy was even famous in the first place…..for sprinkling salt down his sweaty forearm 😂

His downfall was inevitable. His 'success' was based on short term social media hype and some celebrity attention, not on quality/prices. He won't be missed.

Those rich celebrities glazing that sleazeball are also a big problem.

About a year ago I read a comment that said, "Imagine developing a God complex because you drop salt off your arm." Captures it perfectly.

I think that Salt Bae is a bigtime narcissist and is way overvalued by rich fools who like to show off that they got ripped off 😂

A lot of greasy back street kebab shops have much higher ratings than his restaurant in London 😂

@fahimkhan7207 1 year ago

fact that people actually paid those ridiculous prices in the first place

I'll never forget what he did with the world cup trophy

The way he applied salt on the steak it’s disgusted to me. Why people would pay someone to do that to your food lol

Any food worth over $1K better cure cancer and give you a longer life. 😂

Why are people paying for this? The customers must be out of their minds.

His UK location just so happens to be in competition with some of the best steak houses in London and with far better quality and prices, it’s not gonna shock me when the UK location closes down, I was watching “Gary Eats” and he went there for lunch and the restaurant was dead empty.

Even slashing prices in half, you’re still paying exorbitant prices, $650 for a steak is just madness.
