I'm back with another American reaction to European football culture, and this might be the most insane atmosphere comparison I've ever reacted to. As an American reacting to Europe, I sat down with "Football Fans and Atmosphere USA vs Europe Part Two" and I genuinely thought college football had me ready for anything. I was wrong. This American reacts video takes you from the loudest college stadiums in the US straight into the chaos of European Ultra culture, and the gap is wild.
๐ USA STADIUM ENERGY
We start in the States with massive crowds at the University of Tennessee (105,000+ people), Texas A&M, Alabama, and Florida State. As an American, I'll always respect the size of these stadiums, the unison chants, and the "main character energy" American fans bring. But even I had to admit, something was missing compared to what was coming next.

This is where my American reaction completely shifted. Riot police, flares, smoke, and chants so synchronized it felt like an army moving as one. The Belgrade derby atmosphere is something I had never witnessed before, and it immediately reset my expectations for what a "wild crowd" actually means in European football.

From Dresden to Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund energy, and even Werder Bremen, German Ultra groups bring a level of intensity that left me speechless. I even ask out loud which Ultra group I need to experience in person if I ever attend a match in Germany.

For anyone in who doesnโt really understand what ultras are: this is not a tourist attraction, and itโs definitely not a circus where you can just walk in, jump around and film people like part of the show. That can get you in serious trouble very quickly.
If you want access, you donโt just show up. You contact someone from the leading group first, explain who you are, what you want to film, and get permission. Ultras are a closed fan culture with their own rules, hierarchy and trust. If you donโt understand that, stay out of the section and enjoy the game from somewhere else.
the fights and party's is where the real ultra heart beats
This derby was nuts, Red Star won 3-1, whole stadium was in chanting and jumping
The Legendary Derby in Belgrade, Serbia between Red Star and their same city mortal enemies Partizan.
It's considered as one of the most dangerous derbys in Europe.
