A British Army soldier, an NHS nurse, and a love built on laughter, loyalty and being each other’s best friend. ❤️

Lisa and Craig married at Edinburgh’s historic City Chambers on 18 July 2026, in a celebration full of Scottish traditions, heartfelt moments and brilliantly funny speeches.

From handfasting and sharing the Quaich to Army friends telling stories that definitely grew more dramatic with each retelling, this wedding was unmistakably theirs. Their story took them from a change of proposal plans in Dean Village to a ring at Leith Shore—and eventually here, surrounded by the people who know and love them best.

There were proud words from Lisa’s dad, plenty of laughter at Craig’s expense, and a special place on the wedding cake for Penny, their beloved cocker spaniel.

At the heart of it all: two best friends, a shared sense of adventure, and the quiet, unwavering loyalty that makes a life together.
