Thank you for coming back to Dimash.

Kazakh culture and its ambassador, Dimash, are wonderful!

1 - Freedom is a bank or credit card company that sponsors some of Dimash's videos; it also appears in the music video for "Tau Inshinde"!
2 - The gentleman shown playing the "dombra" (or sherter) is one of the original performers of this traditional folk song.
3 - The tune Dimash plays during the end credits (using a "sherter"—a smaller, more compact relative of the "dombra") is the theme song from the animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants."
4 - In the pickup truck, besides Dimash (who is in the cab), Dimash's brother Mansur and Olzhas Kurmanbek (a master of the kobyz) are in the truck bed!
5 - The instrument that opens the video is called the "Dombra"; it is a folk instrument from Kazakh culture, just like the Kobyz (a type of violin that also features two strings made of horsehair)!
6 - Footage showing the renowned Kazakh artist Gulfairus Ismailova painting her famous work "Kazakh Waltz," with Shara Zhienkulova—Kazakhstan's first professional ballerina—serving as the model. This painting was created in 1958 (thanks to @МарияСамадова-у3к).

Do Yazgi next. It’s a beautiful R&B ballad in Turkish.

Thank you for your reaction. Glad you are back for more Dimash. He has released so much this year. Hopefully you will get caught up.
"Gashyqtyq"
From Voices Beyond Horizons program:
"Fire"
"Samgau"
"Living for the Game".
"When I've Got You"
Shortly after "Aqerke" he released a mood video of "Yazgi"

As for this song, I had so much fun watching the video that I have problems paying attention to the lyrics.  Please continue your journey with Dimash @

Guys,
Great to see you back reacting to Dimash again.

This was an old Kazakh folk song which Dimash brings into the modern era with a fun and Dimashian twist. Aqerke is a traditional Kazakh feminine given name, pronounced roughly Ak-ker-kay.
The name translates to English as "pure darling," "cherished one," or "beloved of pure heart."
The man at the very beginning is playing the Dombra, a traditional 2 stringed Kazakh musical instrument which every Kazakh household has at least one.
In the video, cultural elements and scenes from the past blend perfectly with modern moments.
It reflects his deep reverence for his beloved country and its culture.
This was filmed in his hometown of Aktobe in western Kazakhstan. 10,000 towns people mainly dressed in white, were at the football stadium for the filming of that scene.
Dimash did a metal growl and a metal scream there!
That lean-back was done with a harness and ropes, not CGI.
Those planes flying over the dancers on the runway. There were actually 10 of them, but we only saw 3.
The black and white clip was of Garifulla Kurmangaliyev (1909–1993) who was an outstanding Kazakh opera singer (tenor), composer, akyn (traditional poet and improviser), actor, and teacher.
Great you realised that he was playing the theme song of Sponge Bob Square Pants with his team displaying the stitched banner with the video’s credits on it! Dimash plays the Sherter, another traditional Kazakh instrument. The Sherter can either be 2 stringed or 3 stringed depending on whether it is ancient or modern. It shows that Dimash doesn’t take himself seriously as he even fluffs the last note intentionally. Thank you for your reaction.

You need to see Fire from Voice Beyond Horizon.  A different side to Dimash.   This is a project that Dimash conceived which is a comp for eight singers from the Silk Road, set in Kazakstan but in conjunction with Hunan tv.   Dimash is exec producer and head judge and performs four songs during the comp set over several weeks.    Fire is hot!

Fun reaction! It’s contagious that your so excited and full of fun.

Yazgi is the latest one you haven't done yet.

Dimash’s next song is his mood video Yazgi which is sung in Turkish. I ‘ll let other Dears tell you about it.

I always thumbs up immediately on any video reaction that you do for Dimash 😂,  then I watch the video. I love how Dimash is still bringing us Kazak culture and shows us his sense of humor at the end, plus hours of dance instruction. Thanks to both of you for another great reaction ❤.

You guys have heard so little of Dimash's repertoire, it is no wonder you thought Dimash was one dimensional.  About half of Dimash's songs are just fun type pop/rock/r&b/blues/jazz/rap/gospil/neo-classical fusions in an incredibly creative way.  Check out one of his many new songs "Fire" (English/Mandarin/Kazakh) compositions from his tv show "Voice Beyond Horizon".

Awesome reaction thank you!  Dimash announced 15 new songs for his coming new concerts, this is one of them. Another one is "Yazgi", please react to it.🥰🥰🥰

great reaction and I loved the end too-he's got such a sense of humor.  Also, he "tuned up " to play the instrument so it looked like he was going to do a Beetovens symphony or something and then he does the Sponge Bob lol.

Please check out “Fire “ from Voice Beyond Horizon.
💙💙💙💙🌸

I checked the playlist, and you haven't really seen much of Dimash's work. When people say Dimash can do anything, it's true. You've seen him rap on Fire, you've seen him dance, you've listened to challenging, difficult songs, and you've also watched his MVs, so you know he can do anything. Well, you haven't seen comedy music videos like "Tau Ishinde" yet. Or the "Be with Me" music video.
