What's your favourite of these 3 weapon types?

These weapons might be considered bad, but at least the bonewheel shield and dragon bone fist are bad to the bone. However if you're sharp, you'll decide to use the claw. But if you're truly smart as a whip, you'll realize that the notched whip is cracked. And if you quickly want to make your way to NG+2, you need to go by cycle.

The Bone Wheel shredded Havel the Rock into Havel the Gravel

Boots are simply the shields of the feet anyways, so it can't be a violation to kick off Lautrec. After all, you're GUARDING the fire keeper

> planning a shield-only run
> see a video by JK Leeds featuring exactly this idea
> starts how you'd expect, knight class and all that
> goes to the catacombs to get the bonewheel shield
> 2% drop from the worst enemies in the worst area of the game
> the search continues

Hi, Speedrunner here. I like explaining weird things that happen in this game so here's a couple timestamps I noticed.

11:15 DSR's 60fps makes iron golem "randomly" pop up super high in the air when you knock him over specific collisions in the arena. Sometimes he can actually get stuck midair if you manage to have him fall on one of the pillars, it's pretty funny.

21:20 you performed a grab cancel by attacking the moment an enemy grabbed you. This CAN be used in other applications like with iron golem to launch yourself into anor londo, or with a demon worm in demon ruins to get into centipedes boss room.

26:40 that attack quelaag did happens when you deal 400+ damage to her butt. Its kind of similar to how iron golem staggers when you deal 400 damage to his feet and then another 200 to make him fall over.

45:11 you triggered accidental slope fall damage. While running at specific angles down this path (and quite frankly a TON throughout the game) the game registers you as being airborn and not on stable ground, so the moment you touch something the game registers as "stable ground" it takes your last registered height value and is like "oh okay, I need to give this much fall damage now"

The best part about this channel are the awkward pauses after the REALLY bad jokes.

To answer your question about that seemingly random damage you took, if you run down those particular slopes in Anor Londo, the game thinks you are falling and makes you take fall damage. Very weird stuff baffling that it didn’t get patched over all this time.

Pay careful attention if any of the bosses seem to like getting whipped, then stay away from those bosses

the queelag buttshake is almost EXCLUSIVELY used when her ai starts cooperating and letting you behind her with easy reads, it deals stupid damage for no reason after pretending to not be able to hit you.

Fucking hype, JK's NG>NG+>NG++ runs are probably my favourite videos of his

9:09 "as we vamos out of here" tbh this is the best one i heard so far!

JK calls Big Hat Logan ‘Hugh Jackman’ and the Channeler above Gaping Dragon ‘Channeling Tatum’.

…someone watched Deadpool and Wolverine before he wrote that part of the script.

"he gargoyles on my bell" I WILL FIND YOU

"Ride the throat boat" is not a phrase I was prepared for

5:38 As of the time of this comment, I have yet to receive my large Andre. I am very disappointed.

Yeh wikidot does that on a few pages. Quelagg and the gaping dragons pages claim they are vulnerable to bleed but if you go to the bleed page (best way to get there is via the endurance stat page) it clearly says they are immune to bleed. Then again it also says Quelagg is immune to toxic but she's simply extremely resistant rather than immune.

I did a whole run with dual bonewheel shields; one fire, one lightning.  It was the spin to win run as I demolished everything.

Before finishing Darksoul's: Bro this guy is running through the game with shields while i'm stuck on 2nd boss with proper weapons and equipment

After finishing Darksoul's: Hehe bonk bonk.
