Rip Mr Postgate you were part of my childhood. And thank you ,I never missed an adventure.

Oliver's voice is the most soothing hypnotic voice.
I feel so lucky to be a child back in those days.
I love the lo-fi sound.

Olivers voice has taken me back to 1974. Even when i was 2 or 3 his voice just did something to me, Bagpuss, Ivor and the clangers were my childhood thank you Oliver

This has really inspired me to start making little stop motions based on old British stories in my bedroom from nicknacks and clay.

I still watch the Clangers today and I'm 61 yrs young! Wonderful childhood memories too.

My brother and I grew up watching these outstanding programs.....Oliver Postgate should have been knighted!!  The sheer amount of work and invention that went into making each episode - THIS deserved recognition. Instead they give knighthoods  to useless PM's and London Mayors who do NOTHING....RIP Oliver & Peter.
