In this ep, join me on project bonneville! I posted a poll on what project bike you'd like to see next on the channel. I counted the votes and the clear winner was a Triumph bonnie/thruxton. As I wanted a cheap project my options were the 865 triumphs and luckily the most beautiful one popped up for sale near by! So excited to get cracking with this one.

I have a 2009. Never a problem in 50,000 miles. Built like a tank. Got it breathing and mapped. Goes like stink. Ran like a slug before I had it tuned

It´s incredible how smooth and silky she rides within 1,5k and 2,0k RPM´s .... not snatchy at all, feeling at home .... 23´My T120 hates to ride below 2,0 K RPM´s if not downhill or at very plain road ..... She is happy at 2,5K Rpm´s though .... Thanks Euro5 plus to ruin our lives .......

Cracking bikes - had a 2004 765 for 20 years - loved it and had all sorts of mods on it. Now ride a 2020 model.
Lots of options with the Bonnie - make it your own.

Can't wait to see what mods/upgrade you do as i have the 865 scrambler with the kenda big block tyres, the riding style will change a lot but you can't beat the look of the big knobbys 🤟

The 865 is a great engine. I owned a 2005 Speedmaster for about 7 years, the longest that I have ever kept a bike. To be honest I sold it and then bought it back 18 months later! Interested to see what you do with it.
